But, is there cloning for FireRed and LeafGreen? I want to clone my friend's Ho-Oh from Colluseum, so, yeah.

Anyone know a good sequence?

Sadly I don't think so as if you could clone someone would have found out within the 3 years the game has been out.

The sequence seems to be around depositing, saving, turning off... but I'm too scared to try it on my Fire Red. :roll: If I had a spare one or a LG I'd try...

As it is, I've never even tried it on Emerald... I restarted my game and then found out about cloning... :cry: So I now have to beat the freak'n game again.

I wonder if you could clone in a pokecenter on FRLG the same way you can in the Battle Tower on Emerald... *reaches for GBA* argh. I've gone too far on my FR... the pokes are too valuable.

Only have 1 gameboy.
I could trade to my friends game cube, but, that wouldn't work well.

Post cloning?
Maybe it's because I havn't played Emerald, but what is cloning? I assume you duplicate a Pokemon, but that sounds like cheating or something.

The term "cloning" was first used in Gold/Silver, when someone exploited a glitch that duplicated your pokemon. Cloning involves using the PC etc. Check this thread for more information.

I'm quite well aware of that thread.

Its just that, FrLg sort of lacks a good battle tower and such. I thought there was a seperate sequence to do so.

cloning creates a duplicate of the cloned pokemon, same stats, same everything

It doesn't work, because there's no place (like the Battle Frontier) where you use Rental Pokemon in FR/LG. *Locked* (7/2)
