| Post subject: | Espeon vs Umbreon + Bill's house stones |
Can someone possibly list the pros and cons of each Espeon and Umbreon, so I can decide which one to use? I'm using a Cyndaquil starter and i'm going to have Krabby as a slave but i'm not sure of my other pokemon so I dunno how an Espeon or an Umbreon can help my team in general, I just want to know which one to pick as an independent sort of pokemon. Thanks in advance. Also, it says that you can get Leaf Stones, Fire Stones, Water Stones, etc. at Bills House; can someone tell me how? |

Umbreon has better tanking stats; good Defense and HPs, along with good tanking moves (Toxic, Moonlight, Confuse Ray, etc..) Espeon has good sponging stats; good Sp. Defense and HPs, and gets moves like Morning Light, and various special attacks. Both can Baton Pass if you want. Espeon is probably the better attacker, and Giga Drain, Psychic, and Shadow Ball all work nicely. Umbreon is a better tank, with Confuse Ray, Toxic, Moonlight, etc.. Depending on what your other pokemon are, both are good options. Umbreon if you need someone who can take a physical hit, or just need someone who can take a hit, and Espeon if you need some more Special attackers and some special sponging. |

Yes, Umbreon tanks, Espeon sweeps. Espeon will reach much better power in RuSa, but for GSC, umbreon is the clear choice. Well, the stones question wasn't answered, so I will do that. Bill's Grandfather, in Kanto section, cerulean cape, will give you 5 stones. Everstone - bring likitung Grass - bring oddish fire - growlithe (Gold/Crystal)/vulpix (silver water - staryu thunderstone - pichu http://www.psypokes.com/gsc/faqs.php Where can I find the evolution stones? |

Thank you for the info, but doesn't it say somewhere that it is impossible to get Umbreon and Espeon in RuSa because there is no night/day function there? Edit: Sorry, I was mixing them up with FRLG. My mistake. |

why choose when you can have both? heck my Cyrastal team has Flareon, Jolteon, Vaporeon, Unbereon, and Espeon, plus one rotater, and my eevees are lv 100, there easy to raise |

I pick espeon cause umbreon takes damage but has bad attacks so if you pick espeon, yes it will go down quicker but if you make sure your espeon is fast enough you can make their pokemon go down first and have a quick elite four sweep before breakfast
