Well, I am in the process of saving for my DS and I was wondering, how big is Sinnoh? I mean, compared to Hoenn, Johto, and Kanto. I've been reading a lot about it and it seems to be huge.
Thanks.

If you're talking about the Routes, it doesn't have many of those long, boring, easy trainer type Routes. You can get through pretty much all of them easily. The only part that really takes a long time is getting to the Spear Pillar, but that's pretty much it.

^Yea, Spear Pillar takes forever. But I'd say Shinnoh is about the size of Jhoto; I think Hoenn still ranks in as the largest region.

Well it's probably the biggest continent so far. However the 2nd generation(i.e. silver and gold) had the biggest map w/ two continents.

The only thing that makes Sinnoh so big is that there aren't that many sea routes. Only to Victory Road and Canalave City are there actual surfable sea routes.

one thing that I noticed was that Victory Road seemed much shorter than other games, which I think is a good thing. Cities are much bigger than before, too.

there are two maps in sinnoh too. the underground is pretty much a second map, but it's not as exciting unless you have lots of friends nearby in it too.

Maybe so, but one half of that map is meant to be the Kanto Region, apparently since both Johto and Kanto were connected in the 2nd Gen. games but not in FR/LG.
Otherwise I'd say that Hoenn is the largest region, than Sinnoh the 2nd largest

Sinnoh is, by far, the largest region yet. Once you obtain the game, you will understand it's utter massivity.
