The first 7-8 turns, i use an ultra ball, then after that i use a timer ball. sometimes a nest ball works for me because i'm usually a higher level, ergo: stronger, than the legendary.

I would suggest you taking Ultra Balls.. Timer Balls only work best after 10 turns..

Use Ultra Balls initially. After about 20 turns, I would alternate between the two. Timer Balls only get better after every 10 turns, so they're weaker than Ultra Balls early on in the battle.

At least 25 Ultra Balls first, then Timer Balls.

Acutually, I believe that you should bring just as many Timers as Ultras, especially if you're trying to catch more then one lengendary.

if you do bring timer balls, make sure you can last long enough to use it. bring a very strong party, but one weak enough to avoid killing it in one hit. once it is weak enough, have at it with ultra balls and timer balls.

Try using a team based around stalling, bt without the Toxic element. For example, use whatever means possible of Paralyzing and then bringing your opponent down to the red area, then use something like Chansey/Shuckle to keep Resting away everything. That'll increase the time spent, thus making the Timer Balls even more effective.

Just a slight case of grave-digging here, wouldn't you agree?
