I dono how many people know this but its useful.
Put TM Theif on a pokemon, go to cerulean cave, B1 where all the paras' are and use theif. You can get an unlimited amount of Tinymushrooms!

Alot of people know this already. Are the tiny mushrooms more abundant in Cerulean Cave, or was that a random area you picked?

No, no, no... not Cerulean Cave... that's where all the Pokemon are levels 50-60.
Mt Moon is the ideal place to obtain mushrooms. The frequency of Paras encounters on the second storey is 100 percent, and one in two Paras in the wild is carrying a TinyMushroom.
You may find a Big Mushroom, but you should just sell it if that happens. They're worth two TinyMushrooms, but you can sell them for ten times the money you get for a TinyMushroom.

Yes he does, but I'm thinking more along the lines of economy:
A Big Mushroom learns one move, whereas 2 TinyMushrooms learn one move.
A Big Mushroom is worth Y2500, whereas a TinyMushroom is worth Y250.
So, compared to TinyMushrooms, the Big Mushrooms earn twice the moves, but ten times the money. Get my drift?
Oh, and another thing: Thief has only ten Power Points, so it is more efficient to trade in your Linoone with Covet once you beat the Elite Four (if you have access to the Hoenn Region). Covet has the same effect, but it has 40 PP. Much, much better. Four times the PP, four times the amount of time finding Mushrooms before you have to rush off to the PokeCenter to get your PP restored.

Man, this girl has brains. Tell me please, she must have joined Midnight.
And yeah, that trick is cool, but I prefer not to delete the move I want, unless I want my Charizard to learn Heat Wave.
