Sorry Cuddles, the first rescue ThankYou Mail went to Emilienko, since they did the mission first.

yes, i think thats a good idea. i dont have a problem with not getting in first, and i see now that the fiery field one was taken before i started it. i think it is important to write a reply straight away saying "ill do it" and also quote the original message so everyone knows which rescue you are talking about. you can then go back and edit your post to include the a-ok password, so as to avoid double posts.

if you look at kryten's post about silver trench, as soon as i saw it i posted to say i was doing it. that should stop anyone else from bothering (or at least from expecting to get a thankyou mail). after i did the rescue i posted the a-ok code. i think its important to post them here, rather than to just pm the person who needed rescuing so that everyone knows who is assigned to which mission.

it can become a shambles if people do things like this in haphazard ways. for all i knew i was the first person to see the rescue request and thats the reason i spent the time going through the silver trench. i wouldnt have wasted my time if i knew they didnt need rescuing anymore.

i'll help. you dont need to pay anything. just when i give you your a-ok mail password, you give me a thankyou mail password. i think you need to put a reward in, but it can be something simple like an oran berry etc. if its a really difficult rescue, some people would understandably only want to do the rescue if you promise a good reward. (like a friend bow or something else rare.)

I don't want to die (even though i can be rescued), so what level should I be to survive stormy sea (and possibly beat kyogre) ?

Hey elite42! the answer to your question should be at least lv 28. but if you have a good electric pokemon your going to du fine at lv 25 but you shouldnt go there with out lots of apples, 1 escape orb and max elixers(three is good). i know this becuz in my old file i almost beat the game so i know, but i decide to start a new game.

i think theres a problem with the code. can you check you entered it correctly? i double checked it. maybe an S should be a 5 or something?

Cuddles, maybe the best solution for our problem would be a subforum where each rescue is written in a new topic... I'm a newbie and I think I shouldn't ask for it to our moderators... what do you (other rescue teams leaders) think?

i think they meant the problem of not knowing who has decided to do rescues. you say "ill do it" and then post an a-ok message only to find that someone else has done it and secretly PM'd the mail to them before you got in.

i have also thought a subforum would be useful. start a new post if you need rescuing. someone replies to say they can do it, then updates their post with the a-ok mail once theyve completed the rescue. the original poster can then post a thankyou mail and there can be discussion if wanted. after that they can agree on it being locked.

it would also help with the fact that sometimes someone posts a rescue request and it gets buried under a pile of other stuff. its an idea i have thought of, and i think its a good one. but i wouldnt have suggested it.
