The title says it all. If I Ingrain,the opponent uses Roar/Whirlwind, will the opponent's attack work? Note: Doesn't count .

Roar/Whirlwind works, if I'm not wrong. Ingrain only prevents the user from switching, and cannot prevent the opponent from making you switch.

Okay, if the roar/whirl works, if I switch back, will the pokemon's HP still increase every turn? That is, does Ingrain retain its effect?

I thought it said The Move Failed whenever you used Ingrain then Whirlwind , maybe I'm wrong but i'm pretty sure it won't work.

I think that the pokemon should stay there when using ingrain, at all times in the battle.
