I know he chose it, but there is more than one charmander. It's not a legendary.
Oh, and are we allowed to catch some of the Gold/Silver pokemon later on? I love amphy and houndoom....

We aren't able to get them? Alright. I respect your decisions ^_^ But, could we make some harder to get than others? Like, only obtainable in a side quest or something?

I get what you mean Pimm. So, can we start training individually now? Because, you haven't posted any multiple trainer activities. Also, could we maybe have different teams to choose to be on? Sort of a double battle kind of thing.

Do we start with any money or pokeballs? If not how do we get them?

Pimm already mentioned that he didn't want to have too many of the traditional starters in the game. There's no use for potions and healing items in-game, because you're healed after every battle, and allowing people to use them in battle would give players who'd played for longer too much of an advantage (they'd have more money) so that negates the need for most items, and if I know anything about programming a battle system I know things like elemental hold items would complicate things a LOT. 'Tis just a guess, but I'm betting an extra ball would unbalance the other two, making it either too easy to catch with an ultra ball or too hard to catch with a pokeball. Plus, I've seen the map, and there isn't really enough travel space to require two ball-type upgrades.

Well, I'm pretty happy with how it turned out, but I may not be the best judge. I can't wait to see what sort of pokemon you can find in each area.

No one answered this so...Will I be able to catch a dratini if I chose charmander as a starter? And, are we going to be able to get a bagon? *wants salamence* You should make a list of which pokemon we can catch and where we can catch them.

It would kind of take the fun out of it if we knew exactly where to catch them... I agree, though, about learning which Pokemon are available to be found.

The help section of the site answers two of those questions- you get a bagon for free with 55 pokedex entries and a second starter of your choice with 80 entries. As to legendaries:
Quote: The beta tester who helped me the most gets first pick, then second, third and so on.
Although, if we're playing called-its, I want Suicune Or Articuno, or possibly Raikou.

well, once you get like 80 pokes in the dex u do. Yeah, but I think you'll never make it to the 80 dex entries with only one starter (so without trading them).
Edit: Let the games begin!

Shouldn't we label the places on the map?
