This one is really confusing @.@;
I guess they are related because Either all of them can have one of two special abilities OR supposing that Sudowoodo´s Mimic can become any attack, they can all learn the move Confuse Ray.

They all look weird?
They all look like something they're not? (IDK about how golduck doesn't look like a duck...)

Nope, but dunsparce was close on how they all look like something they're not.

They each attempt to mimic a real life (not always) animal or creature.
E.G. Golduck looks like the Kappa, but it's not.
Sudowoodo looks like a Bonsai, but it's not.
Drapion looks like a scorpion, but it is and is not.
After this, I suggest you just tell us the answer.

Nope. They all can be mistaken as being a different type. Sudowoodo looks like it would be a Grass type when it's a Rock type, Golduck is often mistaken as being part Psychic when it's a pure Water, and Drapion can easily be mistaken for a Bug hybrid instead of a Ground hybrid. Get it now?
Next three
Pachirisu
Pikachu
Raikou

They can all cause thunderstorms? I'm just giving a random guess.

They're all Electric type, they all end in U, and their Japanese names are identical to the English ones.
And Drapion isn't a Ground hybrid. It's a DARK hybrid.

One type of the Pokemon is weak to the other:
Steel is weak to Fire (Heatran)
Flying is weak to Grass (Tropius)
Water is weak to Electric (Lanturn)
In the first two, this turned out 4x weaks to Ground and Ice respectively (and even stranger, Ground is weak to Ice)

they all learn an attack (of their type?) at level 57
or
they both have male 50%/female 50%
or
they all have an ability with 2 words that are about their types.

DNA, you got it again! One of their types are weak against their secondary types. Smiley for you!
But you kinda mixed up Tropius' thing: Grass is weak to Flying
The next three are
Kangaskhan
Mr. Mime
Phione
((Hint: It has nothing to do with type or moves))

The thought of them laying eggs is strange, or something egg-related.

Strange things breeding-related?
Male Mr. Mime and FEMALE MR. Mime...
Baby Kangaskan has a baby already...
Phione can't evolve into Manaphy...

All their base stats are the same. That is to say, Ho-Oh and Mew have 100 base each, Arceus has 120 each.
And Ho-Oh has yet to be an event-exclusive Pokemon.
