I've been experimenting with pokemon who know Perish Song and pairing them with my Wobbuffet as my opening duo for double battles. Problem is, I don't know which one is best.

Here is the list of all the pokemon who can use Perish Song.
http://psypokes.com/dex/search.php?type ... 4=#results

I'm offering ten psybucks to the person who gives me the best* pokemon and moveset** to pair Wobbuffet with.

*Which will win me the most out of 20 battles

** I already have a good moveset for Wobbufet, I only need a moveset for the other Pokemon.

I'll say this:

Wobbs is banned in competitive play still. So, this team is going to be casual, by deduction.

Since that is the case:

Gengar (M) @ Leftovers
Trait: Levitate
EVs: 172 HP / 252 Spd / 84 SDef
Timid Nature (+Spd, -Atk)
- Destiny Bond
- Hypnosis / Protect
- Perish Song
- Substitute

Sub on the switch, Perish Song, then switch to Wobbs. Hypnosis can sleep Metagross which will infact slaughter this combo. Protect can score you a few more Leftover recoveries. Destiny Bond kills off that pokemon as you face with Gengar's no HP after the subbing.

Metagross will own your Gengar + Wobb combo because of Pursuit. CB Gar can KO Gengar before it can trap. Tyranitar is like "LOL! Taunt/Sub + DD!" so yeah. :

The strategy flaws greatly on the fact that most people will switch to something something that counters Gengar...which will have an attack that can heavily damage wobbs on the switch.

I appreciate the advice except this is for double battles.

In that case:

Celebi @ Leftovers
Trait: Natural Cure
EVs: 240 HP / 120 Def / 116 Spd / 32 SDef
Bold Nature (+Def, -Atk)
- Perish Song
- Heal Bell
- Recover
- Leech Seed / Protect

Just about the best PSonger IMO. And yes I use Heal Bell and the 4th slot together on the same Psong moveset >.>.

Since no one else seems to be posting in here and Synchronize's idea won me 13/20 matchs, I'm giving him the psybucks.

I saw a good wigglytuff which had perish song and stealth rock. That's the best usage of the move i've seen

the best perish songer would most likely be mismagius...it can not only trap your oppenent but is also bulky enough to take a few hits and still be in good shape after a pain split...and since wobbofett isnt used in double battles...Mismagius would be your best bet

I agree, Mismagius is good.

Also, Daveshan, why is the pokeball in your icon upside-down?
