Hehe.
Gardvoir might be a bit slow, but she's quite powerful, and has pretty decent defenses.
I currently have a Gardevoir that I've been raising and I can't decide what to put on her.
Currently I have:
Gardevoir@Lefties
EVs SA and S
Psychic
Thunderbolt
Calm Mind
--------
I can't think of what to put for a final attack.
Currently she has magical leaf. I was wondering if I should replace this with grass knot, Or maybe some other move? Future Sight perhaps?

How about a status move like hypnosis or thunderwave?

T-wave would be good to help with it's speed issue, or you can get icy wind for elec/ice coverage and outspeed many pokes after one hit. WoW and Confuse ray are both good options to help get calm mind(s) up.

Well I hope that you are using this in a BL tier battle, or at least a support, because really there's no real reason to choose Gardevoir over Alakazam (well except if you have no friends to trade with... ) or Azelf. And for attacking, defenses aren't the best thing, unless you're talking about Togekiss and Milotic, but they can efficiently recover.
Oh and one last note: Blissey is to Gardevoir as a Tarantula is to a Arachnophobe.
But if you are sticking with Gardevoir:
-Make sure it's a Tracer
-Timid
-Will-o-wisp or wish, whether you want recovery or fill the desire to burn (cutting the opponent's attack in half) the opponent is your decision.
-know what EVs you're going to put, this is a common build for this set: 56 HP / 252 SpA / 200 Spe

Yes and no to this one, Trace is useful, but after garde's first switch in/out it's an expected threat and can be tricked into grabbing Truant, Slow start etc. by making a luring situation for garde to come back in and switching at the same time. Also coming in on abilities like torrent, rock head etc. just make the ability wasted.
Synchronize is useful as the lack to trace's opening text will basically tell your opponent it's using Syncro. And as such they will not throw status at you, unless they're willing to take it themselves or alternately combine it with Lum if your team is in sore need of something to switch in on status.
Personally I find trace the better option, but synchronize does have it's employable uses.

This is my take on Gardevoir-Trace
Destony Bond
Hypnosis
Dream Eater
Shadow Ball

Me, I don't like Psychic types much accept it's another type, same as grass, like Starmie and Gallade. Can Gardevoir learn a lot of the same movesa s Gallade accept the Fighting moves? When I get my Emerald guide back, I can be better help at movesets, sorry.

well, i'd have to say that i have experimented plenty with garde and got my own opinion for a special sweeper focusing on Spec. Def. and Spec. Atk.
Charge Beam
Psychic
Icy Wind(helps cover speed issue)
any choice between another spec. attack or status move.
thats just my opinion...

I've had a share of luck with Trace. I've come across abilities like Water Absorb and just managed to get out of a jam. Being a novice, I had no idea what I did at first, but I was sure proud Trace was Garde's ability.

I've had a little fun with this
Gardevoir @ Choice scarf
Psychic
T-Bolt
Focus Blast / Energy Ball
Signal Beam / Icy wind
It has good type coverage and noone expects a Gardevoir to hit before them. High powered attacks coupled with unexpected speed results in a crying opponent. It's worked out on shoddy as a lead.

Gardevoir is my favorite Psychic type, and tied with Blaziken for my #1. favorite pokemon. And don't go saying that Alakazam is better in every single way, cause that is not always true (Can Alakazam survive a hit as well as Gardevoir, I don't think so). Being one of my favorites, naturally she is on my team, and she is STAYING THERE, I will not replace her with ANYTHING.
Here is her moveset.
Gardevoir @ Lum Berry
nature: Timid
ability: Synchronize
EVs: 188 SP.ATK / 67 DEF / 255 SPEED
Moves:
Psychic
Calm Mind
Focus Blast
Thunderbolt
Before you say Trace is better, hear this:
Lets say a Jolteon or something uses Thunder Wave on her. Gardevoir gets paralyzed. Synchronize paralyzes Jolteon. Gardevoir's lum berry cures her of her status condition. All Jolteon did was paralyze itself. Cool huh?
Also, before you say that Focus Blast is worthless just cause of its low accuracy, well....you'd be suprised how often it hits when used by my Gardevoir. Plus it is also defense against dark types.
