I have successfully created many wonderful Pokemon with the help of "Noob Guides." However I have problems with my originality and creating a functioning team so does anyone have a team building guide I could use so I know all my bases are covered.

I usually build my teams to consist of my favorite Pokemon. Unfortunately my favorites tend to suck in the metagame, so my idea of "functioning" probably greatly differs from the average Pokemon player. Then again, it's not like I participate in competitive play anymore anyways...

Click on the list section you want to go into, then click on the individual Pokemon for more statistics, strategies, etc.

If that's what you were talking about, that is.

Check Marriland (currently down) or Serebii forums. They have some guides. The guides talk about team building and tells the many different battle roles, such as sweepers, tanks, and walls. This site has something like that too, well, just the battle roles - but still, it's a good way to start.

Or you can just watch videos of recorded matches.

Edit: Koipen just made a beginner's team building guide. Talk about impeccable timing. :D
