I'm currently tinkering with my Lickilicky and I keep changing it's moves, trying to get a good combination. I'd like to keep him physical.
Currently,
Meringue
Brave @ Leftovers. Oblivious
252 HP 215ATK 20DEF 20 S.DEF
-Return
-Hammer arm
-Power whip
-EQ/Refresh/Gyro ball/Rest/Explosion/Sub
Once again I'm stuck at the last move >.<
....I wish he could learn trick room....

Well, you can always team it with a Trick Roomer like Bronzong.

I think I gonna go with esplodey, but it'll be hell getting the TM for it....
Until then I think I'll use Fling+Iron ball, It's a 1 time use but will KO any ghost that tries to counter it

I could, but I'm already more than happy with my other 5 team members, Lickilicky is the odd 6th slot. As for the members of my team who can learn trick room... it screws their high speed. :/

I think that sweeping Lickilicky is novelty without Swords Dance or Choice Band. It's attack never reaches the 300 mark, and that lowers its abilities to mash stuff. You won't be sweeping much because of its abysmal speed and the fact that you have a -Speed nature. Two options here: Put it in a Trick Room team, which I think you wouldn't so: Give it Fire Blast and screw Skarmory and bulky steels that would wall you otherwise. It doesn't have a bad special attack stat, being that you like to focus on its attack and it's not that spectacular.
Personally, I'd reroute the whole set to become more like an annoyer... something involving Body Slam and Knock Off. Offers great support through paralysis and disabling your opponent's held items. With great HP, it can stay out for a long time as well to harass your opponent. Attacking Lickilicky is overshadowed by attacking Snorlax mainly because of a higher attack and lower speed stat (great for Trick Room teams) and Snorlax's ability to hit steels better (Fire Punch and Earthquake).
But, this is all just my preferences... Lickilicky can dish a few hits, it's just that you shouldn't expect a high damage output unless you're running Swords Dance or Choice Band.

you could use gyro ball since it can work well with hammer arm's speed drop, but you dont really need hammer arm if you wanna use power whip.
the whip covers t-tar and swampy, but return ,power whip gets walled by gengar so again i recomend gyro ball which will hit gengar hard, for the last slot it depends, rest can help keep him alive, but stab explosion is just super nice to have, and could help get rid of a series threat.
something like this
-return
-power whip
-gyro ball
-rest/assplode

Been poking at my lickilicky and thinking of re-breeding him to be a bit more threatening.
Brave @ Iron Ball/Leftovers. Own tempo
-Body slam
-Fling/Focus Punch
-Sub
-Explode
I'm stuck between Fling w. Iron ball (to kill ghost counters) and Focus Punch behind a sub (to kill Steel counters)
Fun fact: Lickilicky is the only normal type to learn explode
Also does anyone got good tips for getting that TM >.<

you could always ask for one in the trade thread.
i just noticed your sig. why do you want a perfect DV farfetch'd? incidentally, i have a farfetch'd with perfect attack and speed, although it has a random nature, and no egg moves, so it might not be any use to you.....

I would prefer you using eq instead of return, but answering your question, use rest. it'll do you good. Also, for god's sake please, whatever you do, don't use f-puch. use fling with a fossil cos it'll do 100 damage.

Thanks, but I kinda gave up on trying to breed one. (needs to remove that from my sig) I wanted one since it's awesome and with perfect IVs it might actually kill something in Wi-Fi battle tower with it

Sub+F-punch is pretty effective on slow pokemon, and why use a fossil for 100 damage when Iron ball does 130? Also why do you prefer 100 damage EQ over 153 STAB damage return?

About the Earthquake...
Maybe because with a ground move you could hit that Rock and Steel pokés that will lol about your Return...
I would recommend this set...
@Leftovers
HP:252 Def:58 S.Def:200
-Curse
-Gyro Ball
-Sleep Talk
-Rest
A Curse/Rest/Sleep Talk...
Gyro ball hits everything(except shedinja...) maybe with Not very effective but, still hits...
So you can boost your Attack and Defense...Raise the power of the Gyro Ball...
ANd when things get ugly...
Rest and Sleep Talk...
You recover you energy and keep Attacking Boosting...
Don't know if this works...
It's just some crazy idea i had...
I hope it helps.

On the move set he was commenting about EQ over return had Hammer arm, which against rock/steel is just as effective + helps gyro ball's power.
I'm not a huge fan of sleep/talk sets but that could very well work. Though vs. a slow pokemon with resistance it will completely wall him.

Sleep talk and rest together is actually a good idea. lickilicky could be a sweeper and a tank at the same time.

It would've been better if lickilicky's ability was early bird, making the rest time end faster.
