Godfather ignored the little game of shadow ping-pong that the others were playing, leaping into the air. For a big guy (and he was a big guy) he could jump pretty far, mostly because he was floating through most of the jump. He landed a few feet from some, suddenly rather worried, warehouse grunts, who were quickly putting away their radios and taking out pokeballs. "Haunterhaunt! (Bodyslam!)" called Cassius from the other side of the warehouse. The gengar grinned, and charged at the grunts.

((Heh, sorry. I try and refresh before posting, so I can edit if someone else beat me to it. Y'can always backdate character reactions a little.))

"Your tatics are a bore, period." Damean said, his gengar faded out as it retunred to it's ball, he let out his Dragonite, "Draco, you know what to do."

Damean watched as Godfather took down a few grunts, "You still using brute force Cassius?" he asked aloud, "Your games often did involve someone going home in pian."

"You want a fistfight then?" Eirika said. "Travis, Hyper Beam it."

"Sciii--zor!"

Draco with blinding speed dodged the attack and flew into the air, he blew a flamethrower at the Scizor. Damean watched as the flames flew through the air.

Cassius closed his eyes. "The proper tactics for the proper pokemon, and each will excel to their fullest potential" he said, smiling a faint sort of smile. Brute force was rarely an accurate description of his fighting style, but with Godfather, well, he used what he had and he definitely had a size advantage over just about every pokemon present, except perhaps the newly released dragonite.

Unfortunately, he hadn't reached the grunts quite as soon as he should have. Three men from inside the warehouse were running towards the battle, carrying pokeballs of their own. Apparently, not every pokemon this group kept had been worked to the bone, because all three of the creatures they released looked strong and vicious. A hariyama, a pinsir, and a growling swampert appeared in flashes of red light, each one controlled by a separate grunt, and all three looking poised to attack the two battling team leaders.

Before Eirika could do anything, the flames hit Travis and he was down. She withdrew him back into his Pokeball, and sent out Claire.

"Ice beam."

"Xa...." She shot out a beam of ice, striking the Dragonite.

"And what's this, besides a sad crew of Pokemon? Lairi'll take care of you." She let her Gardevoir, letting Lairi do what she wanted.

Lairi used Psychic on the Hariyama, sending it flying.

((As an RP forum mod, I would like to remind you that posts should be two full lines long, at the bare minimum. This isn't a speed contest, slow things down and take your time to create interesting, well-written posts, especially in battle, where one-line "Pokemon x dodges the attack" can be taken as godmoding, making your character impossible to hit.))

Draco took the hit, and wobbled in ther air momentarily, and then released a bolt of electricity at the Xatu.

Damean released Shadow again, "Take care of the others." he said, the Gengar turned towards the Pinsir, it used Psychic and blew it away.

"Claire, Mirror Coat it, quickly!" Eirika yelled.
"Xa-tu." She put up a barrier, sending the electricity back at the Dragonite.

Lairi glanced over at the Gengar that had taken out the Pinsir for her. <Thanks.> She used Magical Leaf on the Swampert.

The fighting-type Hariyama looked pretty winded by the psychic attack, thrown against a wall by the mental blow. Its trainer yelled at it, insults mixed with encouragement for it to get up, and the fighter obeyed. It was in a poor position, type-wise, but made the most of it, charging at the gardevoir, who he at least had a chance of hitting.

Pinser, blown farther away, got up slowly, winded but not as injured. Swampert stepped in front of him, protecting the bug as he started a swords dance attack, while swampert provided cover with a Surf attack.

Lairi saw the Hariyama coming at her, and slammed him with a Fire Punch. She then turned her attention to the Swampert, who was using Surf at the moment...she hit it again with Magical Leaf.

Cassie strode along the reaches of Verdanturf Town, staring at route 117 from a hill.
"Everything looks so serene..." She looked at her Pokemon behind her, Twinkle and Steely were striking poses at each other, and Pixie, Quikie and Night were on top of each other, taking a rest. That left Psy...
Then, a voice as smooth as the summer breeze asked her, <What are you doing?>
Responding, she said, "Psy, you can come out now, I know you're behind me."
The bush behind her wriggled, and transformed into a Gardevoir with a chipped horn and green eyes.
<You are good.> He looked at her thoughtfully.
"Well, yes I know, being a psych-LOOK OUT!" A white blob zoomed by, grazing Psy's shoulder.
<Ow! What was that?> he asked, stiffening up and rubbing his now red shoulder.
"Seemed like a Pokemon flying so fast it lost control," she replied.

Swampert was ready for the second magical leaf, after taking damage from the first. He raised his paws, putting up a mirror coat attack in front of him. Pinsir jumped from behind his large protector, accompanying the returned magical leaves with a powered up slash attack. His trainer was calling for backup, something about dealing with ghost types.

Draco took the hit like it was nothing, beign resistant to electricty was helpful, it flew down at the Xatu and used Dragon Claw.

Damean smilied, "Shadow." he said, the gengar nodded and laughed hystericly as it turned invisible and reappeared behind the pinsir, and hit it with rain of Shadow Balls.

Lairi figured the Swampert was going to do that, so she set up a Mirror Coat, reflecting the leaves back at Swampert, and Fire Punched the incoming Pinsir.

Leaving them a little dazed, she used Confusion on the Trainer, making him babble nonsense.

Claire was hurt by the Dragon Claw, but wasn't KO'd quite yet. "Claire, Wish, then Psychic..."

"Xa-tu. Xa--Tu!"

((I'm gonna put the three grunts up as NPCs, you can control their actions, but please make them something of a challenge. They're supposed to be amongst the group's best.))

Godfather was through with the small game, approaching the better trained trio of pokemon and their trainers who were dealing with the gardevoir and the other gengar. Cassius was looking exasperated, and worried. "Ignore them. Pandora and Maiden are still inside. They're taking too long. I need you to cover me, I'm going to find them." The large gengar nodded, but looked a little worried too. There were a lot of trainers inside, and all of them now knew there was a raid going on. Cassius seemed confident enough, but one trainer and two thirds of his team didn't seem like enough to take on a whole operation.

Draco, was shaken by the psychic but swung around and fired up another Dragon Claw being so fast left the bird with a severe disadvantage.

The pinsir turned around and began slashing at Shadow, being a ghost type the attack did nothing, "Shadow take the swampert down." The gengar fired a psychic at the Swampert, who hand no time to react, the wasn't KOed but it was dizzy from the blast.

Damean noticed Cassius leave, Now where could he be going? Damean thought.

Alias: PsycheKick (Sidekick for all slowies) (Hates to be called that and it's just because he's not psychic like everyone else! :x )

Appearance: African-American, Black hair, almost bald (close but not quite) transition glasses, black jeans, gray long-sleeve shirt
Background: He lived in Saffron as a boy, and spent 90% of his time in Sabrina's gym. He has no psychic powers but can figure things out very easily and makes you think he's psychic, because he knows how people work and can predict things very well. He despises Team Midnight, for everything he's been exposed to has been against it. The only reason he has a Midnight pokemon on his team was because him and his Psychic friends were teasing, and the ended up almost killing it and he could never stand to see a pokemon die. All of his friends are Psychic, and they some times made fun of Hewz for not being Psychic.

Appearance: Will has dark tan skin and spikey white hair. He wears blue jeans and a black T-shirt. He also wears a pair of goggles around his neck.

Personality: Prefers to avoid fights and tends to use high charisma to get out of situations. Will often makes the mistake of underestimating opponents and tends to get into more than he can handle at once. He has been around phycics for most of his life and has developed a way to make it rather dificult for his mind to be read. (not impossible, but difficult) This ability is next to useless as most of psyche knows he can do this.

Will once started his own team, team nightmare which ultimately failed. Magil, being a nice guy took in all the members of nightmare and Will became a Leader.

Will watched Damien battle from a distance. He deeply admired his leaders battle style, but had no interest of battle himself. He did not know how many members of psyche were around, but he figured that there was quite a few.

"I don't know Vince, this operation isn't going as smoothly as planned. Just count on Psyche to ruin a perfectly planned operation." Will knew Psyche was jsut doing what they thought was right, but it happened to disagree with his view of right and wrong. "Try to get a bit closer so that we can back up Magil if he needs it."

Appearance: Allan has dark brown eyes and medium length dark brown hair. He is six feet tall and relatively muscular. His outfit changes every time he goes on a mission, but he always has a belt with six Pokeballs attached.

Background: When he was eight, Allan witnessed the murder of his parents. He attacked the murderer, but he was no match for him. Allan left a scar on the murderer's face, and since then he has been searching for the man who killed his parents. At the age of twelve, Allan began to develop psychic powers. Although his powers were limited, they gave him strength and agility far greater than that of a normal human, as well as a sixth sense. At the age of sixteen, he created Team Psyche to help fight crime. He wanted to use the power of the supernatural to rid the world of evil.

Appearance: Medium height. Heavily built and ex-muscular. Greying hair, steely blue eyes. Wears a dark grey suit and a soft black beret. Usually carries a wooden cane with a golden "M" set in a glass sphere at the top.

Background: Originally worked as a member of Team Rocket, but left after they were kicked out of Kanto. Became a Team Magma Executive, but he found that fire really wasn't his thing. Joined Team Midnight at age 45, and now works in "some sort of job with a lot of paperwork, cough cough."

Ghost was sitting at his desk, shuffling some papers, when he shivered involuntarily. He sighed and stood up, putting his weight on the cane in his hand.

In a few minutes he was in the basement garage, waiting for an attendant to arrive. Finally one did, and at the sight of Ghost the young man went to find a car, preferably a nice one.

The chaffeur came back with a stylish black Bentley, and opened the door for Ghost. After hopping in, the old man said, "okay, let's go. Just follow my directions."
