His voice became fainter and fainter as he leapt out.
"come to my place. Ill enjoy the company."
Spark said, "Ill stay with you guys, just in case something else decides to have us for lunch."
Fang brethed the fresh air as he came out of a hole near the now dark and still waterfall. Looking at the moon, he said, "Midnight, wonderful."
"No, really." He began to recharge his power from the moon and decided to grab some berries then go.

"It's Midnight," asked Larry.

"Yes it is, and you've got a LOT of explaining to do. I mean, I've been worried sick; I thought something terrible happened to you."

"Dad, don't worry. I'm fine, thanks to all my good friends here."

Spark said, "Seriously, Mr. ...Exploud,"
He looked at Larry as if to reassure his father. "He's OK. I looked after them, so did my son Fang. The Umbreon."
Meanwhile, Fang had reached his destination. His dull cave. Looking around to make sure nobody was there, he fired a speedy Hidden Power at a switch, which made a blanket on the roof collapse to form a stargazing area.
"I love hiding things."

"I've got no where else to go for a few days, my parents are out of town, so I'll take you up on your invite Fang, just hang on one second."

He walked over to the large aggron. "Guess you aren't so bad after all my name's Shard and now I know to trust you."

Shard then walked back to where Fang was, still holding his sack of loot. "Ok, I'm ready when you are."

((Ok, counting you probably posted right after me, Fang is at his house...place and Spark is with Larry, just wanted to clarify.))

"Well as long as he's ok...he's not grounded; I'm just glad he's ok, but he still has got some explaining to do."

"Checking in, my leige." Flare bowed before the fiery bird.

"Good. Your friends are powerful fighters. They think they killed Lugia, but the dark one, the Umbreon, he did the right thing. Celebi has been sent to revive Lugia. Zapdos however, did not share the same fortune." The bird looked reprovingly at Flare.

"That wasn't my fault, sir, I couldn't stop him. He'd disgraced Zapdos before I could even begin to stop him."

"Well then, he shall be the one to replace him. Even now the elements are out of balance. Articuno has managed to escape and survive, but Zapdos has been destroyed and disgraced. Bring the one who commited this treachery here. Lugia and Articuno will meet us here."

"Very well, my leige." Flare bowed again. "And Raptar?"

"He is checking things in Johto. Leave him to it. You should not be travelling with the Legendaries."

"As you wish." Flare bowed again and left the island the way she had come. She knew she shouldn't, but she would catch up with Raptar again. She had always liked befriending ones of high authority, no matter the price. For now, she would fetch Shard so that he could be brought back here. Back, to Mt Ember.

Fluffy sat perched on his father's shoulder, they were in a little shelter that the peacha tree made, "Fluffy, where did you meet all these people?" the Aggron asked, he fixed his blue eyes on the little bird, "In the village." Fluffy replied, "...Dad, do you know what happened to my real parents?" Fluffy asked, the Aggron grunted, "Where are you getting these thoughts?" the Aggron said, "It's a long story I doubt you will be able to understand it."

It had been three days since the events in the cave and Shard was relaxing at home with Tide (his father, a blastoise), Wild Fire (his mother, a charizard), and his sack of treasure that his parents had mixed feelings about since he had to go through some dangerous stuff to get it.

"Life is good." He said as he stretched. "I guess it's time for me to get some exercise. Although I could buy all the pokeblocks I wanted ten times over, hunted food just tastes better."

He thought back to the cave, he could still taste Zapdos. It was part of the story he decided to omit from his parents.

"See ya' mom, bye dad! I'm going hunting."

Several hours later he was finishing off a Raticate when he smelled a familiar scent. "Hey it's the Flareon from the cave, the one that talked funny."

Shard dropped the remainder of his meal on the ground for the murkrow to eat and ran towards the smell. "Hey Flare! Whats going on, how you been?"

Three dyas later, Fang was near the ocean that was out of the secret tunnel in his cave. Spark had long since gone back on his travels, but said if he ever needed him to holler and he'd be there.
Fang looked around shadily to make sure noone was there, and then he gave a whistle. The ocean broke to greet a giant blue fish with red markings all over its body.
<You summon me, my friend?> it asked, looking at Fang.
"Yes, my lord Kyogre." He bowed regaly. "I have news. Bad."
<Mmmhmm..>
"The events in the cave that went on three days ago."
<Yes, go on.>
"One of the group, sort oif absorbed that day, rather..."
<Yes, what did he rather?>
"He ate Zapdos."
The ocean gave a tidal wave of fury. <HE WHAT!!!!????>
"...sorry, I couldnt stop him..."
<Okay, child, okay. Only know that if he did disgrace..> Kyogre gave a rumble of fury. <if he did disgrace it, did you do what I requested?>
"Yes, m'lord. I did bury it, as every Pokemon Ive ever had the misfortune to witness thier murder."
<Good. You have proven quite a faithful servant.>
Kyogre turned around toward the ocean. <Come. There is something I wanted to tell you....>
<that I cannpt hide your true identity forever.>
Fang leaped on Kyogre's back and went out into the sea to see what Kyogre wished to tell him.

Breathing deeply, Raptar returned to the forest near the village. Flare was nearby, he could sense it.
Flare, you musn't go ahead with this! You know that nature will provide a new Guardian of Electricity.. you don't have to do it this way...



"Greetings, Shard." Flare said calmly. "Would you care to accompany me on a walk yonder?"

((And now I'm off. Toodles! Be back in two days!))

"And then Flare and Entei melted his sword so he couldn't hurt us anymore, so he just ran off, and we found treasure...and this."

Larry's father took the locket from his son, opened it, and dropped his jaw in shock.

"That Whismur is you, and the Exploud is Loudbeard, your great grandfather. That's the ghost I fought."

"...That it is son. That it is. I just can't believe all that happened in just one day."

"Dad, I'm off; going to Fluffy's house! Bye."

"Make sure you are back by sundown, and be safe."

"Will do, Dad," said Larry as he left his house, on his way to Fluffy's.

((Great, CF's gone for two days and didn't give us permission to god-mod Flare))

"Sure Flare, I don't mind a little after-lunch stroll through the woods."

The two began walking.

Walking slowly, carelessly, Flare led Shard around the waterfall they had been to three days ago. Sitting down beneath a large and shady tree, she closed her eyes for a moment. Beams of Sunlight began to shine through the leaves, bathing her in sunlight. Opening her eyes, a fraction of gold light was seen before it faded. The sunlight shone brighter, warming Flare as she sat. Taking a breathe. She turned back to Shard.

"So. How art thou?"

The stroll was nice for Shard. Going past the waterfall and lying in the sun seemed to relax him. With a full belly, a warm sun shining on his face, and a friend beside him he didn't have so much as a care in the world.

"I'm doing great Flare. How about you? What've you been up to?"

Larry jogged down the village, saying hi to most the neighbors who were outside. After a while, he finally reached the Pecha tree that Fluffy lived in.

"Hey Fluffy! Hurry up! We're going to the waterfall today for a relaxing swim!"

Fluffy came out the tree, shaking leaes from his feathers. "Hey Larry." he muttered as he pulled a twig from his wing, "Swim eh? Sounds good." he said now looking at the loudred. "Let's get going!" Fluffy said taking off into the air and hovering above Larry.
