The force palm does the trick and your opponent falls.

"That's my only pokemon." The other trainer says. "Roxanne is next and, by the way, you have to call out your pokemon first when you face her."

Tom walkes up to Roxanne. "I'll challenge you now, go Aura!"

{Tom}

"Very well." Roxanne says as she tosses out a pokeball.

Out of the ball comes a geodude. "DUUUUUDE!" It cries.

Damn... It looked like Ralph didn't have a chance to steal the machine. But...

"Hey guys, go on ahead. I actually need to give some items to mightyena before we go, I'll catch up in a second."

((YAY! Super Effective! What's the trick?))

"Aura, Palm Force!"

{Ralph}

"Very well. We'll be waiting for you outside." Tamson says as he and the grunt head out of the secret base.

{Tom}

"Counter!" Roxanne yells.

After the force palm strikes, an orange ball of energy comes out of geodude and hits Aura. She is KO'd now. Roxanne smirks at you as if she were boasting.

Tom thought hard. If she countered... Special Attacks! Mirror coat was unusable unless..."Go, Kecleon!"

Once nobody was within sight, Ralph turned his attention to the orb. He couldn't take the machineary, but that orb looked quite promising. This was the last time he returned to this base; he would split with them while they were out or on the way back.

He was going to do this cautiously, though. Kecleon showed himself again after quite a while. "Kecleon, help me look for any alarms or triggers or anything on the orb in there." he said, examining the orb and the surrounding technology carefully, to see how he should remove it.

{Tom}

"Use rock blast, Geodude!" She yells.

((Umm... I don't think you realize this, but Gwen and the other grunt are still in the base. The other guy is unconscious, but still in the base none the less.))

Dusk saw the special-ops team arive. "Looks like they're here!"

{Dusk}

((Meh, sure I can speed things up for you.))

After Flannery briefs the special ops team on the situation, she turns to you and says, "There's word that the man who attacked you is in Rusturf Tunnel. They need you to go along with them to verify. I'm heading along for the ride because, if this guy is starting trouble in my jurisdiction, he has to answer to me.

"So are you coming?"

((oooooohhh! ))

"Well, i'm Alex I come from Fortree City, what's your name?" Said Alex.

"Kecleon, use Power of Aincent at the attack!"

"Um... Okay."

{Alex}

"I told you, it's Brendan." He says.

Christy then introduces herself and asks if Brendan knows about any of the other Regis.

"Actually, I did hear a news report that said that Regice's tomb had been opened up and that it was missing. I doubt they'd activate on their own. Someone must have stolen them."

Geodude shakes off the rock attack and counters by throwing a barrage of rocks at Kecleon. She begins to turn a dark brown color, signifying that her color change has turned her into a rock-type pokemon.

{Dusk}

"Great." Flannery says as a special ops operative lets out two pidgeots; one for her to ride and another for you to ride.

When you make it to Verdanturf, you find it in absolute ruins. Fire fighters are still putting out flames and maintenance workers are cleaning up major damage to the area. Are you going to find out what happened or head into Rusturf Tunnel? You could always do something else, though.

"Use Attack Faint!"

{Tom}

"Hmph, magnitude." Roxanne says with a sneer.

Kecleon turns invisible and heads towards Geodude, preparing to strike it from behind. Unfortunately, Geodude has slammed the ground and caused a magnitude that shakes up the ground.

Now that Kecleon is a rock-type, the normally moderate attack now does extra damage. Kecleon is unable to complete her attack and cringes in pain. She turns a shade of tan to indicate that she is now a ground type, but she is also in pain. Another attack may do her in.

Tom looked in pain. He had no idea's. He had to tell Kecleon to... "Use S hr U bg B ed S wd T ed I de T de U ge T ed E."

{Tom}

Kecleon tries with all her might to produce a substitute, but has too little health left. Geodude then slams into her and she falls. She is KO'd.

(Time to do an in-depth annalysis.)


"Go, Treeclimber! Use Ball of Energy!" Tom shouts.

{Tom}

The energy ball is more than the geodude can take. It's down. As Roxanne recalls it and sends out a shuckle, Treeclimber begins to glow. He gets taller and blades start to come out of his forearms and head.

Once the glow fades, Treeclimber shouts, "Grovyle!"

Richard got up and went over to the game corner. If someone is challenging the gym, the members of the gym will have to heal after, so he went inside the game corner.

((YAY!))


Tom was overjoyed. "Treeclimber, you evolved! Let's try and use Leaf Blade now!"

{Richard}

The game corner has various gambling activities. Everything from dice games, slot machines, and even some things that involve pokemon battles with a twist.

Take your pick or do something else.

"Use withdraw, Shuckle!" Roxanne yells.

Shuckle goes back into its shell and increases the strength of its rock.

"Hehe, too bad leaf blade is a physical attack." Roxanne says with a smile. "Shuckles can improve their physical defense as much as they want."

Tom grinned. "Oh yes, but there are other things Grovyle can do. Breath of Dragons!"
