My Poke-Sprites...

I just thought I would experiment a bit with some sprites... first some simple recolours: Combusken with tentacool colours: Swellow with Mewtwo and Jynx Colours: Kingdra with Koffing colours: Persian in Jynx Colours MADE FOR Nyuu Glaceon with snowflake pattern MADE FOR InfernapeCrazed and then I moved on to some splicing Latias and Gligar: Latiar Bagon and Smeargle: Bagle Dragonite and Magmar: Dragmar Eevee and Lombre (+ a guest appearance of Dewgong ) Lombreon Slowbro and Breloom Slowloom Pinsir, Golbat and Wormadam: Ninjir Porygon-Z and Salamence MADE FOR SALAMENCE Salamence-Z Nidoran Female, Shinx and Seviper MADE FOR TheKyogress Shidoviper I was unsure whether this was really a splice... but Kecleon and Electabuzz Keclabuzz I have now done pixel-overs: Chimchar Sugimori to Sprite ---> ^^ damn, just noticed it looks horrible... oh well. Milotic --> Red Metagross MADE FOR ~p o k e~ spriter --> Glaceon MADE FOR InfernapeCrazed --> Shaymin (my own drawing ) to sprite MADE FOR embryonic dragonite --> And I have now tried out some Re/De-vamps Marowak (Green) to Marowak (P/D) --> Lucario (P/D) to Lucario (R/B) --> I would appreciate any feedback Last edited by Joey90 on Sun Jun 10, 2007 4:24 am, edited 18 times in total.

I've never seen any of those before anyway, which leads me to my point.. They're great! I can't seem to find anything wrong with them, and I think it's a good choice of colors/pokemon to fuse. You have spriting under control, that's for sure. Hope to see more of your stuff!

Now that you've gotten names and stuff, I'll do a more sophisticated rating for each one. Latiar: Absolutely wonderful. Can't see any spots I don't like. The colors are well placed and thought of, and I like how you managed to get the little pattern in there as well. The only thing that is bad is the pose. It looks weird. I'm sure it would look a lot better if the head/neck part was more in line with the tail. Bagle: Perfectly executed idea, though the back of the head/hat thingy looks a bit.. like it was never on. Colors are great and I love how the mouth stands out. Good job. Dragmar: Probably your worst. The tail is crooked and does not look like it's a part of the body. It has dots, which looks terrible. The wings and head are OK though, but I wouldn't say anything special about the colors. I'm not saying it's a bad piece on overall standards, just that it's worse than your other ones. On a little distance, it looks better. Lombreon: Great idea. Especially the Dewgong tail (am I right?). It fits perfectly. As for the fusing itself, I like how the "hat" fits in there. The legs look good as well, like it's in action. It simulates movement, which is rarely seen in this quality. I must say though, that the edge on the right side of the tail looks a bit dotty. That could have been taken care of by finishing the edge. Slowloom: To me, this looks like you've done two things. Added tail and added hat. The positive is, that the hat fits wonderfully, but I won't say it's a good choice of pokemon. You could've done a lot more with the colors and splicing, but this is a bit too simple. There's my opinion. Overall, you're really good. Better than myself.

I did the wings on Latiar from scratch, so they aren't so good, and dragmar looks a bit crowded IMO. Slowloom wasn't really very serious, I just gave hima dodgy beret (though I did edit the stomach a bit... Yes it is a dewgong tail on Lombreon, just with extra patterning. +added Ninjir (a not-too serious NINJA! :p ) If you want anything specific just ask
