The sigs in my old gallery were, in my opinion, pretty bad. I've learned some new sig making styles and improved my products. I've asked Charly to lock my old one.


Ice Climbers. This was my first sig blending in real life pictures into the backrground.


One of my favorite games, .hack Infection. I experimented with some Filter Effects like difference clouds in the background of this sig.


I tried a new style in this one, using some glow effects on the brushes, and adding a pop out style.


I really liked this one. Once again, I used some Glow and erasing effects.

I would appreciate some tips from some of the more experienced banner makers here.

I-Ice Climbers?! They're one of my most favorite characters on SSBM! And what makes me even more excited is that they're back for SSBB!

2nd Sig - Very nice, but the Filter effects aren't exactly the most exciting. Try making your own backgrounds with your brushes.

Heracross - He's okay, I like it.

Bowser - the second pic you put in there wasn't the best choice, he's barely visible and it kind of messed me up. Nonetheless, very nice!

Bomb-omb - Ehhh...I'm sorry, this one doesn't work too well for me. It's too plain, clouded, and the stock is badly placed.

Shadow - Cool, especially the lines you made through it. How do you do that?

Avada Kedavra - No text is good, but the background could be a little more interesting with some brushes.

There's probably an easy way to add lines, but what I did is draw them custom with the pencil tool. I don't draw them every time, rather I have a saved .psd file with them on it, so I just copy and paste, then use Color Overlay and change the oppacity.

I love the Ice Climbers and the Final Smash one.

My only suggestion is one ones like the Bowser one, since the render is so blended into the background, the text is way too prominent and it looks out of place.

That dragon one's awsome, where do you get your sprites?

Your stuff is still very good, but I did notice that the colors on the link one didn't blend too well. Weird kind of purplish hurts my eyes.

I think I'm getting the hang of this. I kinda had a dumb moment today. I just now realized how to install brushes! I wish I knew how to do that a while ago.

Here are some sigs I made using my new brushes...

Raioku one is awesome, still wondering where your getting your sprites.

The kirby one looks kind of.....Bleached, maybe sharpening it a bit....

Lemme clear something up: Sprites are the ingame sprites. The ones I use in sigs are pictures. I just use Google Image Search. The Raikou one was from a pokemon card.

Nice job with the Raikou. Do you use Photoshop? What effect did you use? Interleave?

Final Smash, Rayquaza and the Raikou ones are my favs.
I wonder if you already tried to distort your backgrounds? I thnik that in the Raikou one that would give it a cooler effect. Search in DA for displacement maps if you haven't got none.

Yes, I use Photoshop CS. I didn't use the Interleave effect. Could you explain what that is?

I think this is my best sig ever.

You went kinda overboard with you "best sig ever" . Just a teeny bit less brush on the sprite and it would be perfect. Same with the majora one on the right side of it.

I like the choas one though, that's some cool lines in there.

Personally, I think your 'best sig ever' is a bit overbrushed =P

I don't like the orange sig. I think its a problem with the text. Again, it might stand out a bit too much.

Chaos Zero is nice, but the subtext 'Chaos is power, power from the heart' I don't like the arial font, and, unlike the other one, the text is too hard to read. It might be a little overbrushed on this sig as well. But overall, I think this is nice.

Great job. But like dunsparce said, you don't need to brush all your sigs ;p

Gotcha, I just refer to all images of animal/people/things in artwork as sprites.

The VII is hard to read; that should have been in a normal text. An otherwise great sig. I think Cloud should have stayed throughout the whole thing, though.
