Well, first, is it supposed to look blochy? Like as if it was drawn by hand? Normal tips would be try to kep the black outline to 1px-2px wide, then color it from which way the light is coming from...so if the light is from the right, like here, make the black areas lighter than the color near it, then the shaded areas should be darker than the color around it....

Hmmm...
The outlines are far too wobbly, and on the first one at least, the colours don't completely fill the lines.
The Shading is also a bit odd
P.S. how do you make them... are they scanned in drawings, or done totally on the computer? And what program do you use for colouring?

hey there joey. yes i must admit i havnt got the steadyest hand in the world but hey im tryin. wat i actually do is get a pic from the net (anonymos of course) and 'trace' them in serif photoplus by making a transparent layer and drawing on that. i must admit that the first one was a bit of a shambles but that was my first attempt. i now work in block colour only as its a bit easyer till i find my feet. any way i hope that answered your questions(it gats my post count up anyway) see you soon

I'm going to say this once.....You Can NOT steal other artist's poses. Not Now, Not later, Not NEVER.
Therefore you are not allowed to use Arkeis's poses.
