I'm so sorry if this is in the wrong forum but I need help and this forum's name says so.

My computer can't do animations. Is there anything specific I need to do in order to get them working again? It works fine on other computer's but not this one.

You mean cant view?

Using which program? Internet Explorer?

Or an un-web-based program?

What type of computer is it?

Or did you mean make instead of view/do?

Yes, I can't view them. This isn't IE and i've seen it work on IE. Even the computers at my school can do them. I mean I can't view them, though I can't do them either.

So what are you using?

How good is your computer? Your graphics card?

Are you running big programs whilst viewing the animations?

Are they GIF or SWF?

I use FireFox, and the tiniest animation has started to appear(New posts on popular topics grow and shrink.) I not to sure about the computer but I think it's fine. I personally have no idea what SWF is but I assume that it is a animations hosting thingy. No big programs but I don't know what you mean by it(Either other programs going or CPU usage or free memory space?).

SWF =Shockwave Flash = Flash.

Open Windows Task Manager. AT the bottom bar it says "CPU Usage: ##%"

That should give an indicator of how much your computer is being pushed.

If you cant find task manager, open the START menu and find RUN.
Type in: %systemroot%system32 askmgr.exe and press OK.

I know where the CPU usage thingy is and it usually stays below 20%. The only problem is that sometimes a firewall thingy takes up 50%. Could you possibly give me a link to the shockwave flash thingy? Thanxs
