Wow, that's tough. Currently it's "Personal Jesus" which I found while playing a video game. It's great, any classic rock fans should listen to it. "Barracuda" by Heart has always been cool too. Then you have "Cult of Personality". w00t! All are great. 8)

Favorite '80's song?
Metallica - Master of Puppets (1986)
Why? Because it's an awesome song, and Metallica ruled during the '80's.
'nuff said.

I'm guessing you enjoy GTA San Andreas, because all three of those songs are in the game. "Barracuda" (1977) and "Personal Jesus" (1990) aren't from the 80's though.
"She Bop" - Cyndi Lauper
"Dress You Up (in My Love)" - Madonna
"Sweet Dreams" - The Eurhytmics
The entire soundtrack to Grand Theft Auto: Vice City

Funny I had just realized that after I posted too. I hadn't though about changing it, but anyway yes I do play it.

Definitely. The whole album is amazing, just amazing riffs.
I guess The Police's "Roxanne" is pretty catchy, though.

I can't really put my finger on only one... Here are a few that immediately spring to mind, though:
Dire Straits - Money for Nothing
Joan Jett - I Love Rock 'N Roll
Guns N' Roses - Sweet Child O' Mine
The Police - Every Breath You Take
U2 - With or Without You
And more, of course...
By the way, "Roxanne" is from The Police's album Outlandos d'Amour from 1978, so technically, it's not an '80s song...

Bon Jovi rocks. If only I could put all of my favorite Bon Jovi songs on one CD...
The lyrics are awesome, and that guitar kicks butt.

In IRC I have repeated my liking for maiden ad nauseum.
My favourite song of the 80's is Phantom of the Opera by Iron Maiden (1980).

I don't like any 80's song but has anyone heard of something like "Sweet Dreams"?

That's difficult.
Joy Division had some good ones.
I'll go with "love will tear us apart". I had that song as a ringtone once. Laaaaammmmmmmmmmeeeeee...
Any new-wave, really. AND HAIR METAL. We mustn't forget hair metal! ^^;;

Cyndi Lauper- Girls Just Wanna Have Fun
Megadeth- Holy Wars
Men Without Hats- The Safety Dance
The Damned- Love Song
The Cure- A Forest
Madonna- Material Girl
Gary Numan- Cars
Hanoi Rocks- Loves An Injection
Joy Division- Love Will Tear Us Apart
Christian Death- Romeo's Distress
They were all unique and very creative. Well, maybe except Material Girl, that was just catchy.
