I've never been much a reader, and when I do, I generally favor fiction, especially science fiction and mysteries. However, one of my favorite nonfiction series is actually one of my favorite series over all; Imponderables, by David Feldman.
This series of books asks and answers those questions that people all wonder, but that know one knows how to answer. Things like "Why is yawning contageous?" "Why are tennis balls fuzzy?" "What does the 'Q' in 'Q-tips' stand for?" and "Why must this door remain unlocked during business hours?"
The series is quite an informative, yet comical read, and I highly recommend that you read it if you haven't. If you are a fan of the series, let me know what you think of it.
And, the observant veteran member who knows my last name might just find a question from a relative of mine in the book "Do Penguins Have Knees?"
