An iPod is an MP3 player. If anything, I'd divide the people up into hard-drive-based and flash-based players.
I myself have a 32MB flash-based player with an extra 64MB chip added. Got it back in 2001 for my birthday. It was bleeding edge back then. ;P

I have an MP3 player, but why would you need a music player which stores 20Gb? Sounds really useless to me.

I have a silver iPod Mini. It works fine, but it refuses to upload any more songs. There's plenty of space on it; the iPod simply refuses any more songs.

What a dumb question. As Jiggz already said, an iPod is an mp3 player.
Anyways, I have a 20GB iRiver IHP-200, which is like an iPod only better, in my opinion.

What's up with nano, can you tell me what "problems" are those some speak of (not just sanctuary)?
I have an iPod nano myself and, besides the weird battery indications (it's almost dry and suddenly it's half full again o_O) it seems fine... oh, and 4 gigas is still more then I can handle, I still haven't gotten around to use half of them...

Everyone I know who has a nano says they have no problems with it.
It just seems that due to the ipod's popularity its now cool to laugh at it.

Because of examinations, my friend wouldn't be able to travel to the US, but she fortunately managed to switch the date of the exam that would keep her here, from the 19th to the 16th. That means she is free to travel again.
Because she wouldn't go, I abandoned the idea of her buying me an Ipod Mini. But now that she's able to go, I searched for the Ipod again, on the Wal Mart website, but couldn't find it anymore. I think they were already removed from the market.
I'll ask her to bring me an MP3 player, then, from Creative, with 5 gigabytes (I think it stores about 1000 songs, or something). Its less expensive than an Ipod mini with the same capacity, I believe.

Good luck with the player, Galar, but be careful from Creative. I've had... bad experience with that company in the past. My first MP3 player was from them and, while it was primitive... let's just say that it didn't meet my expectations. Go with iRiver, you'll have your best bet with their products, Galar.

Thank you for the warning, Nido. I don't have any Creative product, if memory serves, so I wouldn't know. I actually picked the Creative MP3 player because it was the least expensive I found. I will search for this iRiver you talk about (I hope I can find it).

Creative? Isn't that a local company here? If it is, their newer products aren't too bad. My cousin actually works for the company

iPods are much more sleek and stylish, so I prefer them, there are people up there who have many GB of music I know. I dont understand how they listen to it all before they die theres so much .
MP3's are much more... good for money, not too much, unlike iPods, the new video one is a hell of a lot of

I believe its a problem with some ipods. Like i know 2 people that had a problem with their iPod Mini , so they had to return it and get a new one. Same thing happened to my shuffle. The songs were all gone and it wouldnt show up on iTunes. But when I got my new one, it works fine.

I have an iPod which I share with my dad, and we have plenty of music so it really isn't a waste of money. Also my iPod had a problem where the buttons worked but it wasn't affecting the iPod. All I had to do was reset it by pressing the fast-forward button and the middle button. Got rid of all the problems and I didn't lose any music.

Well an I-pod and a MP3 are basiclly the same thing, you can download songs on both of them it is just the I-pod is more popular. I like an MP3 better though because it isn't as difficult of a prosesse to download songs as the i-pod.

Well to tell you the truth I actually used to like i-pod till mine slipped out of my back pack and broke. I was so mad that I went and bought a MP3. So that is why I don't like i-pods.

er...perhaps you meant 1 GB? 1 kb would be WAY WAY too small for any file, much less an mp3.
