Has anyone ever seen Phantom of the Opera and Jekyll and Hyde? I absolutely looooooove the movies. I grew up listening to the music of them, and I have loved them ever since. I get to see the play of POTO at the Aranoff Center this month, and I am soooooooooo excited. I have even performed there myself! ^-^ So, what does everyone think about POTO and J&H?

Eh, I never saw the movie. I saw the play, though. That was good.

The movie is great. You should see it. If you liked the play, you'll like the movie, the storylines are exactly on. I can't wait to see the play!

I heard the movie sucked (esp. the acting and singing) from someone who saw the play. I want to see the play whenever it is it comes back to the Playhouse. I don't think I'll ever consider watching the movie.

Well, everyone is entitled to their own opinions, but, I thought it was excellent, and I loved it. The ending was oh so sad, but, I won't reveal what happened!

I listened to the soundtrack first, then watched the movie, then read the book. The book was very different, but I loved it all. Andrew Lloyd Weber is a very good artist. Cats is my other favorite by him.

I've never seen Cats, but I hope to. I've heard it was good. Weber is really good. I never knew there was a POTO book, I gotta read it sometime!

It's the book the play, and in turn the movie, was based off of. It's quite an interesting read.

I've heard a number of people say they hate the movie, too, but I can't figure out why. I absolutely loved it--the singing, the acting, and the directing. Awesome movie (and soundtrack). And, yes, the book is different from the play/movie, but I like them both in their own ways. :) Oh, and Webber's plays and songs are pretty much all great--at least, I like them all.

Yay! Finally someone who loved the movie. I love all kinds of things like POTO.... I want to introduce another topic, so I'm gonna change the title...
