has anyone relized those wall things from the sm64 game are nurikabes?
if you don't know what those are they are japanese monsters that live in the mountains. i haven't noticed but can anybody tell if any other creatures from the mario games are japanese creatures?

You're talking about the Whomps, right?
I am positive that Koopas were inspired by Kappa too, and tell me if I'm wrong, but in Super Mario World (which I played just some months ago) I remember seeing a mountain scenario that looked like a Kappa.
