I have respect for the Red Sox, because they hate the Yankees. Don't shame the ball club by pretending to be their fan, but denying that the Yankees are flat out lame douche bags. :)

When I said "No Wai" I was being sarcastic. Of course the Yankees are the worst **** team in baseball. Okay maybe not worst, but definitely the most hated.

and homerism has finally hit Psypoke...
Because it's not like the Yankees have 26 championships or anything...oh wait.
THEY DO
actually, I'm just mad because the Braves, Devil Rays, and Marlins all suck, so just ignore me.

Im for the Yankees even though they are about to lose in the playoffs. Yankees for life. But maybe the Cubs will win this year unless some unexplanable event happens that prevents them form winning.

Yankees suck. Although I did recently read a statistical article, that said that the Yankees are consistently the best team in baseball; they have longer dynasties than anyone else, and spend less time sucking than everyone else too. Which annoys me.
Although I'm a Blue Jays fan, so I only dislike the Red Sox slightly less than I dislike the Yankees... and they've recently become the second evil empire, spending money like there's no tomorrow to try to win. Broken curse=no sympathy for them anymore.
And of course this postseason, I'm rooting for my hometown Rockies!

You didn't honestly expect them to win the World Series, right? Surely you wouldn't forget that they are the Cubs.

Me and my dad were just talking about that.....tbh no I didn't. I was hoping they'd play the Red Sox in the World Series......Well, hopefully the Indians and Red Sox win today. I think this would be the first year where every team that lost in the first round, was swept...

Lol, when I first saw the name of this topic I thought it was racist to Americans and I was like :O "What the H*ll?" but before I clicked I, (just about managed), to realise that I was on the 'Sports' discussion and remembered that the Yankees are a team.
I've no idea for what sport though or most of the other teams in it apart from the ones mentioned above. (I'm English and only follow our football).

They're pretty sweet, mang. They better beat Boston or I'll be depressed. They didn't do so well today, either. :(!

Ouch Rockies vs Sox. Sadly, Sox gets home advantage.

It's okay, we took 2 out of 3 in Boston during Interleague play earlier this year.

Seriously? And you think that's unfortunate? You we're playing professional baseball! Who cares what team it's for!
Oh, and by the way, as of the World Series, the Red Sox are the new Evil Empire, and hereby suck more than the Yankees.

Oh... I thought by "single A" you meant one of their Minor League affiliates.

Seconded
btw lol jsxtm for thinking someone here plsyed in the pros.
Actually, I would think playing for the yankees farm teams would suck, since you'd have to be the next Derek Jeter to get called up most of the time. I mean, imagine if you played shortstop and got drafted by the yankees, playing behind Jeter. Or played First and got drafted by the Cardinals or Phillies, playing behind Albert Pujols or Ryan Howard. You'd be in the minors for ages unless someone got injured or you got traded. Then you'd be playing for the Royals D:
