Ah the gaming world of suicidal little creatures.
I personally think Lemmings is a great series.
I have played to PS1 version and in a week I'm getting the PSP version.
For those of you who don't know,Lemmings are small creatures who just keep walking to certain death...but not if you can help it.You assign these little guys with jobs such as;Builder,Blocker,Floater,Basher,Climber and yes even suicider(in which case the lemming blows up creating an explosion that can unblock a path.)In short you have to guide them from point A to point B.The levels can range from extremely easy to frustratingly hard. Also the PSP version of the game has a Create-A-Level
mode which is great if you feel up to a challenge.

I played this game way back in umm... I think maybe '92 or even '91 when it came out. Of course, back then it was on floppy disk, and I was playing it on an IBM that ran on Windows 3.1. It was one of my favorite games at the time, along with SimCity, Battletoads, and Bubble Bobble. I really had no desire to play it for any other system, because it seemed annoying to have to play it with a control pad rather than a mouse. The only other version I have played was the one for Playstation, and that was only for moments on a Playstation my friend got when it first came out. I would recommend this game.

I love the lemmings! They're cute little faces, it was like Worms, but less violent. (Though such a comparison is made redundant due to Lemming existing (though not for very long, due to their suicidal nature) before Worms.)
I loved the little voices, as well as the squish as they hit the floor...sadistic, I know.

Lemmings is like 15 years old and still has its touch of magic.
