In summer I might spend 200 on a DS. Here the DS is 200 and the PSP is 300

Glass Scratch remover, works wonders (doesn't repair cracks), only costs about 10 bucks, it will remove all scratches and doesn't mess up the touch screen (it works and looks good as new).

The Dual Screens (the name DS) where designed to change the gaming world. When you're playing Mario 64 DS the top screen is the game itself and the bottom is the map. The bottom screen is the touch screen with just the touch of the finger or stylus things can happen while you play, example: Bob-omb mini game in Mario 64 DS. When a Bob-omb comes out you touch it to pick it up and move it to a cage. And the Dual Screen game play can serve as playing games verticly. Like in Sonic Rush (soon to be on the DS) they use the screens to make the view of the level higher.
In my opinion the PSP is a mini PS2. So who needs a PSP when you got a PS2? The DS has rechargeable batteries and is wireless. PicoChat you can chat with people without making a sound. And I read that Nintendo is tring to create a FREE wireless network for the DS so you could play against anyone in the world (if they have a DS). What does the PSP have that the PS2 doesn't? Nothing!!! They have simalar graphics, they can both play music and movies, the only difference is the size. Now the DS, chat rooms, dual screens, and touch sreen. That is everything that the DS has and the other nintendo systems don't. So for anyone who still thinks the PSP is better over-all. Reread this post along with the other posts on the DS and rethink your opinion.

Exactly.
Also, I think its how you like your consoles. If you like gaming, I'd say DS. But if you like movies, sony ect. You'd probably like the PSP.
Me, I want a DS more.

PSP SUXXORS!
-PSP- A few nights ago my Dad brought home one of his freinds PSP, It was awful! Plus, we took it off the oversised charger for 2 minutes, and it died.
-DS- The best B-day present I ever got! This great handheld is sitting rightnext to my computer right now
My rate:
DS - 9.5
PSP - 3.0

I think this pole is pointless. because this is a forum for pokemon fans the majority is going to vote for nintendo, very biased.
I prefer the PSP. It has everything the DS has (except touch screen and voice recognision, but whats the point if it doesnt have as good games). Picochat isnt as spesh as people think, hear me out. The wifi in the DS has a limited range, you could walk up to some1 and talk to them IN PERSON with that range. now the DS fans r probably saying 'i can use the wifi to talk over the internet ha' well true BUT u could use ur computer to do that anyway. the PSP can do the rest of the functions for you. and just for the record the PSP has different games to the PS2, yes some are the same but the DS has N64 games on it so nobody can say about the hand helds having game ports, they both have them.
PSP: 9.1 <---- excellent piece of equipment, years of entertainment value
DS : 7.9 <---- im not saying its bad im saying the PSP is better

Not excatly It's a UMD player it plays little UMD disk meaning you have to purchase UMD disc.
But i dont want my portable Video game player to waste its battery playing movies on a tiny screen, and listing to Mp3 on a memory stick that you have to purchase sepratly.
So if you do the math for the one device you purchase to do all those things you could buy seprate device that are made to do the one thing they were made for.
For about $120 USD I can buy a portable dvd player with a larger screen that can play my existing DVDs and would mostlikly include a car charger.
for about $100 USD i can buy a MP3 player.
and for about $80 USD i can buy a GBA:SP.
Or in my case i have an MP3 player and all i need is the DS so i can play my existing games and DS games.
