that would absolutely rocks.
Despite of graphics, i love the Johto gameplay the most, since u can travel to other regions in that game, the GSC gave me a nice feeling when i travel to the Kanto, it recalls my old memories of playing the RBY. Howver, considering every things, including graphics, it would be the worst among the 3 regions.
i suggest a new idea for GSC make-up is changing the 16th gym, Gary to Giovanni, then go to the Indigo Pleateau to fight against the Kanto E4, then change the Ash in the Mt. Silver to Gary, then...u guess?
I suggest adding Hoenn region here, where u hv to fight 8 gym leaders (totally 24 leaders), then finally the Hoenn E4 and ash in Ever Grande City.

Hm.
It'd be okay, I mean, I love the Johto region and the whole storyline and all. I think it'd rock with new graphics/pokemon. ^_^
Bad thing is, it probably wouldn't sell because people are looking forward to new Pokemon and such...

Yes, you might feel that way, but you form the minority. However, the fact that FireRed and LeafGreen did so well should be sufficient proof that remakes are indeed as popular, if not more popular than new Pokemon games. They need not make two versions, but perhaps a single remake for one out of the three games, probably Crystal Version, would be possible.

Why not do a 3D remake for the Nintendo DS? It could be to Pearl and Diamond what LGFR was to RSE.

I would like a remake of G/S/C because of the fact there was so much to do in the game. 16 badges, 2 regions and a huge amount of game time (which is fun.) Meant that you could basically fall in love with it. (Not physically of course )
G/S/C are still the best Pokemon games in my opinion. Why remake them? Because it would sell.[/quote]

I think it'd be cool.
but the fact is they definately WON'T be remade, Lugia and Ho-oh are now gems, and they would be too common if they remade the games.
so if they were remade, Nintendo would have found out a little way to exclude them....

You can't get them over in Europe though. Nintendo events don't happen over here >.<

Remakes would so rock.
I loved Gold version soooo much it was way better than RBY or RSE.
If it had nothing to do with nintendo events well that would be great and nothing you could only get in the JAP version well that would just re invent pokemon forever

in fact, i dun care wht the remake of GSC includes, just a remake is already wondeful. Since i think that the storyline of GSC is the best among all generations! it's let u to travel to other old region (kanto) in the game, and u can also fight another 8 gyms, and finally Ash Ketchum.

I'd personally love a GSC remake. GSC was, BY FAR, the best game series EVAR. Visible Day/Night, actually day system, best sprites so far, and in Crystal, best Battle Tower and every pokemon with its own animation. Some Emerald animations are shared, an example being Heracross' and Dodrio's animation. They are mainly the same, but in Crystal every pokemon had its own animation.
AND PLEASE, make it possible to catch Lugia and Ho-oh in-game!
And so you people know, D/P are almost 3D anyway, and they're for the DS.

Meh, they'd still make them Nintendo road show etc., you know nintendo when it comes to these things.
I think they would be the best games ever if they had L and H-O in-game, I wouldn't and couldn't stop playing them. And Kurt's custom pokeballs, remade and upgraded would be nice.

Bleh, I don't really care for GSC. Some features were cool, but it was really annoying. It took extremely long to get to the third gym, and all the gym leaders and elite four were super weak. For god's sake, Lance's highest leveled poke was level 50! I think that even Giovanni had higher leveled pokes.

I think that would be awesome. I would love to see a remake of those versions because then it would be easier to get other Pokes like Ho-oh again.

I would love remake. Especially if they had all the Pokemon only obtainable via Pal Park and you don't need Nintendo event to get them. I think (if there is a remake) they should be called Pokemon Tin and Pokemon Copper (Metals that make bronze)

I would like a G/S/C remake, as long as they don't bring back whirlpool as a HM, that move was so annoying yet horribly weak at the same time.

One of the things I am sad they never carried into the newer games was the day/night thing, so it would be cool to see it make a return.
i cant read it is that a remake?
