You have a great guide so far, but i just have one issue. This is incorrect:
CLaSsicK wrote: Illegal Location: Check a pokemon’s location (search online) and see if they can be caught or in some cases hatched in that region. Pokemon like Mewtwo may only come from Kanto, Rayquaza are from Hoenn, and Palkia are from Spear Pillar. However, any hatched Pokemon may be obtained anywhere but must be in a pokeball.
I have my mewtwo currently on my sapphire version. When/if i palpark it, it will say Hoenn as the location.

Why didn't you just type it? Or did you want another post?

Hmm, that is an interesting theory. Have you tried it to make that factual? It may just carry the Kanto location over still. I'll have to try that. Seems sad that this hasn't been stickied.

Something should be added about all Surfing Pikachu being female and Hardy.

Any pokemon from RSE will display hoenn as the region. I have pal parked over kanto region pokes (originally from my FR game, but traded to sapphire) and their region was hoenn. I have done the opposite senario and the region said Kanto. So, whatever game they are on when you pal park them, that is the region it displays.

Where can I find the limitations of hacks (I.e. They cant be used in Battle Revolution)
Cuz, my friend gave me some at summer camp and I can't do anything with them, can I put them on GTS?

So if you catch Mew on Faraway Island, and trade it... It's fake? Even though it was caught on the island?

If the Mew was considered "fake" by the game, it would be untrade-able on the GTS and it wouldn't be trade-able in R/S/E/Colo/XD/LG/FR. The Mew you catch on Faraway Island is considered to be real regardless of how you got the ticket in the first place, so no, it's not "fake".

This is ironic. You're trying to help people identify hacked Pokemon but do you know that you're indirectly telling hackers how to hack their Pokemon so that they will appear perfectly legit? But then again, not all hackers will see this. One thing to take note of however, a Pokemon with maxed conditions in every stat doesn't mean it's created by a cheat device. There are cheats that enable you to make lvl 255 Pokeblocks in the advanced Generation games as well as lvl 99 Poffins in the Sinnoh region if I'm not wrong. Should Pokemon who are fed these perfect Pokeblocks be considered illegal in proper battles then? I mean I don't think Conditions affect battles in any way right:?
