Hmmm, I guess Wobbuffet only really gets any extra movesets if you go from Wynaut. I seriously considered one not so long ago as a staller in my BF team, but I really don't know now...

Yay! A Team Rocket Pokemon. :P

Wobbufet

Ever since I saw it in the anime with Jessie and James, i've always seen it at the most pointless yet coolest normal type. If it is actually a normal type, pardon me if im wrong.

It's cool. :D 7/10

Yay for Gardevoir! It is my favorite Pokemon (er....obviously), and both leaders of Team Psyche (and me) have Gardevoir in their name! Whee! It has usues both to annoy sweepers and to sweep itself. With good SD, it can take a special hit or two. *glares at Kyogre*
BTW, I first to post with new week of favorite Pokemon. Yes.

<s> eleventy-bazillion </s> 10/10

-Gardevoir~

Well, it's nice to see some child-like enthusiasm, I've lacked it in my life...

Gardevoir? I like, mostly because of its looks, though I hold the stance that says Gardevoir should be a female-only pokemon with a male equivalent since most guys I know don't wear skirts, even the gay ones. ;) But still, great SA and SD, sort of like Latios and Latias at a somewhat lower level, my first objective pokemon when I first played RSE.

Hmm... Gardevoir has always been one of my favourite Pokemon, has high Sp.Att, Sp.Def and an above average Speed stat. It makes for a good sweeper, and has a decent movepool.

9/10.

I'm using a Gardevoir right now in Sapphire - I love the way it learns Psychic so early in the game~

the HUGE problem I have with it is that it levels up at an ABOMINABLY slow rate. I found it even dragged my other Pokemon's levels down because I had to use up a lot of trainers on the gardevoir to bring it level with the rest of my team

its a good strong psychic, with, in my opinion, a rather limited moveset (but easily fixed with TMs), but Alakazam is better IMHO.

I can't say for sure, 'cuz I haven't played Sapphire (yet), but in Emerald the stretch going from Verdenturf past Mauville (don't need surf) has various trainers which seem to "recharge" as it were reasonably swiftly. It also passes the breeding centre, which helps breeding, plus Cycling road nearby which is a good thing in itself. Try training there...

Gardeeh is a pretty good pokemon.
Trace and Will-O-Wisp are very nice.
I don't really use it but it's awesome.

Ah, Gardevoir, the Alakazam of Hoenn. I will get flamed for saying this, but I believe that Gardevoir is better than its counterpart Alakazam for several reasons:

1. No need to use up the Calm Mind TM.

2. Thunderbolt owns Thunderpunch, but Alakazam only knows the latter...

3. Will-O-Wisp. Mwahaha.

I often have one on my Ruby version, and it kills everything! My only complaint is that RALTS DIES TOO EASILY!!!

Gardevoir is one of my best in Emerald Version, I caught it on my way to Petalburg early in the game. My only two complaints are that Ralts only knows Growl at first (although Abra only learns Teleport until it evolves) and it's only attack moves are Confusion, Psychic, Future Sight and Dream Eater, so before it learns Psychic you must get by with the weaker Confusion. I like it over Alakazam because you don't need to trade to evolve it and Abra only learns Teleport ubntil it evolves (without TM's).

There's that, I remember I traded mine to my...Ruby? Or was it Emerald? Well, one to the other, and taught it T-bolt. So I was pretty clear then till I taught it Fire Punch. Not exactly WoW, but more accrate...

Hmm... I've never actually respected it, but Starmie is okay. It's good as a Special Sweeper and can BoltBeam. Not to mention I like it's type combination. (Psychic and Water fit well together)

I'm using a Starmie right now in my Emerald version and it ROCKS! Seriously, the thing holds the whole team together. Starmie = cool.

Absolutely, I've used Starmie in every version I've played, though to a lesser extent in Emerald. For me the best thing about it is the variety of special attacks it can learn, and its defensive stats are already pretty good. Sure, Cosmic Power makes it an excellent tank, but my Starmie was always a special sweeper...Bolt-Beam & Surf-Beam....

My only complaint would be the number of weaknesses the thing has, Electric, Grass, Dark, Ghost, Bug... Those aren't hard to find good moves for...

I love Starmie because of her versatility.

I have one in Gold right now and am trying to find a good moveset for it. How's this one? The Lefties kinda gets rid of the need for Recover long enough for her to take out an opponent.

Starmie can be a good special sweeper. I've never really kept one in my team, but my little sister loves water Pokemon. Her versatility is nice to have as well.

I've never really used it but I suppose it's a really great Special sweeper.
Cosmic Power, Recover, the Natural Cure ability and very good stats make this pokemon really stand out.

This isn't the place for rates really, but just to comment, you should lose Ice Beam for Thunder if you're keeping Rain Dance. Otherwise use Thunderbolt over Rain Dance. Lefties are alright,b tu you'll want to dump the full 252 EVs into HP. Go to the Rating centre instead, Snowball and Tiger could probably give you a better idea.

Never used one in a game. But i've heard they're really good. Papersun said it holds the team together.

I might start a name game on LG or FR etc and get a Starmie. Sounding good. ^_^

Hmm... I've used a Ninetales before and it was rather dissapointing in battle. It performed quite terribly and couldn't inflict much damage. But still, the characteristics of this Pokemon are rather cool, and I generally like it.

{ninetales} 5.5/10 {ninetales}

::EDIT:: Typhlosion is not the POTW.

Typhlosion is a great overall pokemon and has an excellent movepool and a very high special attack. I always choose him as a starter on crystal.
