Has anyone heard about it? It's called "Pokemon Advanced Battle", which premiered today at 10:00 EST on WB 38. I forget what the episode was called, but it mainly revolved around a Spoink and a Clamperl.
Please post comments about it here...OR ELSE!!

I saw it but I didn't pay full attention to the episode; Spoink was really cute though and I did pay attention enough to enjoy the scene where Team Rocket was trying to figure out how to open Clamperl to get its pearl. Plus that was one of few (or the only) Rocket fantasies where Meowth imagined Giovanni having a negative reaction, which was cool.
New theme song really sucks though, especially compared to the Advanced Challenge theme which was one of the better dub intro songs. And like Advanced Challenge's intro, the opening movie basically spoils everything that happens in the next 40 episodes much earlier than it should have.

I just saw this new season this morning on YTV at 12:00 pm. I really liked the theme song - made me feel like I could do anything I wanted to as long as I put my mind to it!
The episode was really funny, but I didn't know that Season 7 was already over - on other shows, there's usually some sort of Season Finale - like on Star Trek: Enterprise, where the first season ended with 'Shockwave - Part 1'. This way, you'd have to wait until the next season to see the second part of the episode, making you want to see it all that much more. Here, there was no indication that the Season was going to be over - personally, I thought there would be some sort of fight with Groudon and Kyogre before Season 8 began - guess I was wrong.

Saw the new episode today, titled Relicanth, or Can It? (I think that's right...)
Anyway, Ash and friends arrive at one of the islands and meet up with Dan, an adept tresure diver (with a real ego problem). They take a ride in his and his wife's sub, and of course Team Rocket (who's Magikarp Sub finally comes back ^.^) hears about some giant treasure that Dan mentions and take pursuit. Ash, Dan, and the rest find the sunken ship with the tresure, and the ship is home to a group of Relicanth. TR tries to steal the treasure (not Pikachu for once), but fail, when they all finally surface and Pikachu and May's Bulbasaur pwn TR, and that's pretty much it.
Sorry if I was a bit vague on details.

Isn't it "Really, Really, Relicanth"? Well I missed it, accidentally slept in, because my alarm clock, one of the loudest out there, according to recent studies, didn't wake my up :x , but ya I like the new theme song, but I wish that they would just start catching more pokemon, it would really make the show much more interesting, atleast in my opinion

Nope - Gardevoir is correct.
And they should start making it so that it doesn't take 5 years for Ash and friends to reach the next town - that's why I stopped watching it in the first place. It was always "Let's Make This Detour to _____ Town for No Apparent Reason Whatsoever!" I see it hasn't changed... :x

Well, they have to do that in order to flesh out the series.
If the characters spontainiously appeared at the next town each episode, each season would only be about 12 episodes long.
There are 4 types of pokemon episodes-
Catch em/ evolve em- These involve a character getting a new pokemon or one of their old ones evolving.
Gym battles- self explanitory, The main reason for the series.
Fillers- Ash and co meet someone in trouble, Ash and co attempt to help said person. Team rocket trys to steal pikachu and/or something else. Team rocket blast off. By doing so Ash and co have helped irrelivant character. Roll credits.
Emotinals- An episode designed to pluck the heart strings and deepen the characters personality, like 'Pikachu's goodbye" and 'True blue swablu'.
Unfortunatley, most episodes fall into the third category, making a big waste of time.

This is not necromancy, as I am adding something intellegent to this thread.
CHEESE PIE LEMON SANDWICH POTATO!
That was the intellegent part, now here is the rest of it.
The newest episode (the title of which I forget) featured...an Elite 4 member...Drake! OMG! Now, I only caught the last 5 minutes of it, but Ash and co. were on Drake's pirate ship, eating stew and talking about nothing of importance.
Anyone happen to catch the first 25 minutes of it?

Back from absence (kinda) to help good ol' S_S.
You lost a great episode, really.
The best I can do for you, not advertising the competition, really, is advise you to go here: http://www.lolstop/anime/epiguide/houen/378.shtml
And cry at the great episode you lost (well, at least if you're as crazy about dragons as I am )

My bad, another forum I visit has a [spoiler] thing that makes a box with same f/b colors.
Anyhoo, I sure wish I could see PKMN Chronicles in the U.S...

I got to see the Ralts episode.
SPOILER: (go down)
The psychic connection Max has with Ralts was well played. It has a level of creepy factor at first, but if you give it a thought it not only makes sense but it can mean the ultimate connection between the trainer and his/her psychic pokemon. Battling in-sync with your pokemon just reached the next level.
You know you want to look...
END SPOILER
That's one more thing the anime can touch on that the game can't.
