i was playing in the battletower to pass the time earlier and i noticed how some trainers doo some ridiculus things. i faced one of those psychic trainers and her had a ninjask as his tank. it knew like rest and protect i forget what else. but yeah anyways if you find any really stupid trainers post here.

The only use for that would be to get rid of being paralyzed or another status illment.

yeah it was really dumb it got hit by the stealth rocks switching in and next turn was rest i was like what the hell? then i koed it with rock slide

Actually... no. Detect and Protect stack making it so even if you use the other move it still lowers its chance of working. Wtf is Endure doing on a poke with Protect, and rest on a Ninjask.... wtf are you crazy.

ooooohh....burrn.....Anyway. I faced a REALLY dumb Trainer. His Empoleon had Tackle,Hydro Pump, Peck and Metal Claw.

You have to throw an attacking move there....

thats one of the best movesets ive ever seen! but if you want to use a pokemon from the nincada family, why not go with the following:

hail
double edge
substitute

dont worry splinter - there arent a lot of people out there who understand the subtleties of movesets like yours

EDIT: on a more serious note, has anyone ever really considered rest on a nincada? usually they use most of their HP up while making subs to pass some speed. when they have to come in again they often dont have much hp to start with. so when the opponent sees them coming back out they might predict a sub and switch in their p/hazer, which gives ninjask a chance to use rest and replenish its HP. i know its risky because one hit and its gone, and i know there is wish, but i guess its just not the most terrible idea ive ever heard of. maybe it is.......

Rest could work on a ninjask, it all depends on how good the opposition is if they are very good they probably would switch out, if not they would probably just attack blindly :roll:

I faced this dumb hiker once who kept on using Geodude's harden after its defense had been maxed out.

nincada with protect and rest.. wats wrong with that, they probably do it cus u know nincada isnt really defensive, and easy to kill and depending on what the other pokemon is...it maybe a good set
