Dull objects, too.
Get the story straight.

&& I'll take your advice on that one.

Internet Dating ranks up there with Arguing over the internet, its just pointless. The only exceptions i can see is if you two are dating in real life, and one of the couple has to go far away for a while and the only option is internet, then thats ok for a while. Probably meeting people online then taking it to Real life.

But internet dating is just pointless you can't express emotion and effection and all those other things that goes with dating through the internet, and dont be funny by saying "emoticons".

But people do it, so im just wasting my breathe expressing my point.

Arguing over the internet may be pointless but...

VJKNJLBKJVG. DON'T JUDGE ME UNLESS YOU KNOW ME. YOU DON'T KNOW ME.
Talk to me directly, and then you can feel free to say whatever you want.

YELLING OVER THE INTERNETS!!!111

I think that sites like eHarmony, while kinda silly, can be nice, especially for older people who don't get out much. However, if you're just going to date someone online and never meet them, that's just stupid and pointless. Take this completely random example. Some guy in the US was "online dating" some girl in Australia. It's pointless because chances are they will never be able to meet. You can't get to know someone well enough to date them just by talking over the internet.

I was friends with a 14 year old girl down in the states, but had to cut it off when she took my web-affection (you know, how it's easy to be uber affectionate and do crap like "*huggles, liek, forevar!*" virtually when you wouldn't IRL?) as a sign that I like liked her.

So she thought I was an over the web girlfriend. But that's beside the point.

Online relationships can be just a good or has bad as real relationships. I wouldn't date, but having a platonic relationship has worked out in the past with me. Although loosing contact with that someone can be sad.

Okay. There are some people I would, but people are usually far less inclined to allow me to huggle them at random times than they are vitually. XD If they allowed it, I probably would.

I think we've all decided that internet dating is not the best idea in the world...

webcams are useful but you should never trust someone you don't know the age of..anyway you could meet people that turns out to be your soulmates on a dating service or such; but in a chat? Not very likely :?
