Since I couldn't really find a place for this, I put it on the general discussion. I am saving up my money for an 32G itouch and I'm wondering if you have an Mp3 player, what is it and it's features. If you don't have one like me, tell me which one your trying to get. Pretty broad topic about mp3s at the most.
EDIT:
I going to use my mp3 for mainly internet and video. I will have some songs but not a 1000. I'll also get some apps.

I have a 4gig sony walkman, and its fine for now.
I really don't see the point of the itouch. I use my mp3 player to listen to music anything else subtracts from precious battery time that could be used to produce that music. If I was going to spend that much on a mp3 player I would definately go for a bigger hd for more tunage.
BTW this should probably be in the music section.

My mp3 player wouldnt work. I hit it lightly and it shattered ._.
It wasnt a good one anyway.
I also have this thing called an Onda. Its "made my microsoft". Its actually a Chinese rip-off of the iTouch. It doesn't take music, only videos, and it says "deleteing".
I plan to get an iPod in April though. :)

I spent a good while explaining that the Touch is a waste of your money compared to an iPod or the iPhone even and the two features the Touch has that the iPod doesn't like surfing the internet and playing games isn't worth it especially considering the Touch isn't connected to a phone network, but then I lost it due to the fact that I'm using IE. I'll keep it simple this time by saying if you really just want the mp3 player, get the iPod and save yourself some money. 32GB isn't that much memory for songs, games, and videos.

Yeah, I just wish they came in 30GB or higher because I'm running out of room.

8GB Ipod Nano here. I had a Creative Zen Micro 1GB previously, while my handphone also served as a mp3 player. Personally I think 4 gigs of music can get me by. I can definitely fill up that 8 gigs, but then I probably won't be listening to more than half of those songs if I do.

Same here. The thing will probably stop working way before I run out of space.
Also, if you just think rationally about the iPod Classic/iPod Touch, you should without a doubt come to the same conclusion DatVu did.

I have an 80gb iPod classic in black. It's good because it allows me to store large amounts of astronomy podcasts, Astronomy shows and all my crazy dance music. I thought about buying a touch, but, it was 10x the storage against some added glittery features. I took the right option and got my Classic. Although I have an issue with the hold button, it's been a year and it's still working.

I had a blue 4GB Generation 2 Nano, but I was a victim of an unfortunate event and had it taken away from me four days before Christmas. My family pitched in and got me a 4GB Silver one for Christmas.
