Well, Thanksgiving is almost upon us, and following that day is the nation's (USA) biggest shopping day. There will be early hour sales, there will be fighting moms, and there will be hell in every Walmart (fortunately, I get to share this joy on just my second shift at a clothing store that day from 6pm-12am after working my day job in the busiest mall in Northeast Ohio ^_^). I hate waiting to shop. If it were up to me, I'd have everyone's list after my birthday, and I'd be done by the end of October, screw the sales. No one has given me any ideas though.

Setting aside my frustration, what are you planning on getting or doing for other people this Christmas? What do you plan on asking from Santa? ; )

Personally, I need clothes and a car, but I have a few video games I would like. I don't really want or need much of anything else, other than "upgrading" things I already have like a digital camera and such. I'd rather not ask for those things seeing I need clothes and a car. I might just end up getting some cash. : ( I know that's lame, but no one is going to get me a car. If they don't have the credit to co-sign, then no one is going to just buy me one.

We tried to go to Toledo, my girlfriend and I, because we've been to Akron, Columbus, Cincinnati, etc... but we couldn't find it. We got off at the Maumee exit on I-80 and when we reached Toledo, we were confused. We didn't know where downtown was. We thought it was these petit buildings somewhere on Reynolds Road, but I found out that it's on the outskirts of Toledo and not really downtown. We went to the Southwyck Shopping Center and it was very scary compaired to let's say, Tower City Mall, Great Northern... any shopping center here really. So, we went to Toys 'R Us and Little Ceaser's since we hadn't had their pizza when they pretty much left the Cleveland area (I don't want to go to the east side -_-; (Now that I think of it, we had some when we went to Florida)). So we left without actually going to downtown Toledo. We thought big buildings would guide us there, but I guess not.

Are there better malls there than that?

I'm expecting mostly cash and Best Buy gift cards for Christmas (and my birthday, for that matter). I wouldn't mind a few more sweatshirts, but most of the things I want have to be ordered online. Since most of my relatives are afraid of buying things online, I'll have to get them myself.

I wouldn't mind some gift certificates to The Mall either though. There's a few stores out there that I could go broke at. ^^;

I think Southwyck is endanger of being shutdown. Yeah Westfield is better it used to be called Franklin Park but they changed it. My mom hates Southwyck she says the idiots of downtown Toledo ruined it ;p oh and the Toys'r'us across the street from it is where I got my Pokemon Yellow Version over 5 years ago ^^ (we also stayed in the hotel beside it because it was my bday)

They changed the name to just Westfield? I think maybe they just bought the mall... All of the malls in this area are owned by Westfield, except Tower City Mall (maybe not Parmatown, I can't be sure (Now that I think of it, Beachwood isn't so that only leaves a handful...)), but they retained their names. The malls we went into in Chicago were even owned by Westfield. Is this true for most everywhere? I see the Mall of America isn't; it doesn't need a pimp (why doesn't it have a Saks?).

I haven't really thought of what I want for Christmas yet... I'd like a car but that'll never happen, so I think I'll be happy with cash. And w00t for Thanksgiving!

Meh I don't have to worry about getting a car...although I'm 17, I can't drive atm, so I'm not even thinking about a car. My dad however, has been waiting since I was born to give me one of his cars (Hes kind of like a car dealer...) so I predict he'll get me a car :/ Well, give me one, rather. Hes pretty 1337 with cars.

Thanksgiving is defianetly the best holiday, but no one made a thread and I was thinking about shopping for presents so I made this one. I live for my grandmother's stuffing. That's pretty much all I eat. Ehh... on Thanksgiving.

Since im 21(pushing 22) im not expecting much, I'll probably get some cash. I might buy my brother a Vid Game, and my newborn niece a few stuff, ohh and my cousins some stuff. Especially since i just started to work at toys'r'us (i will never grow up cause if i did...)

I think i'll buy myself a new ipod, and maybe a DS, and save some money to buy a new(used) car.

I'm easy to please at Christmas, I'm 13 so as you expect what I want consists of mainly DVD's, Music and Video Games...... and maybe a puppy........ well I know I'm gettin that...... Me and Kryten went to see it on Saturday and by the way Kryts, I would like those pictures so if you could send them ASAP...... I'm sorry to take up this threads posts with chattin so..... bye

My girlfriend hasn't given me many ideas, but I know she wants a shiba inu, but she only wants an all cream female puppy shiba. I don't think that I'll be able to afford one. I refuse to buy dogs from pet stores and finding one at the aminal shelters would be tough. I'd have to look for ads in the paper or something I guess. My older brother says he wants me to buy him an MP3 player... yeah right. It seems like he doesn't want to give me any other ideas either. My twin doesn't want anything since he can't buy gifts, and I know my mother is going to ask for something stupid like cleaning the ceiling. I don't know if I'm obligated to buy something for my stepfather or stepsister, but my dad's going to ask for me to buy him some sort of tool though I don't know what yet.

A hyper upgrade for my computer. New graphics card, more memory, new monitor, the works.

I bet it took him ages to think of that one... since he does it for a living running his own computer building company : /
But meh, it's what I wanted.

What I'm buying everyone else is even less origional. Everybody I know gets a box of toffee every year. I never do anything different. It's one hell of a cheap way to satisfy everyone, & hey, I can't help being a miser.

I'm not really sure what I'm getting my family for christmas, except my little sister, who is getting a small purse to put in her dollhouse.
The hardest part is that I have to make everything I give away, as I have no cash.
I really want a slinky this year. I got one for my birthday, but it's already in peices.
I also want Pens or pencils. It seems I'm the only one who cares about proper pencil care.

Hanukkah's coming up as well, and yeah we also get presents, but we get 8, one for each day Anyways, there are only two things I want: DVDs and money. I'm expecting to get both. It's not a secret present-giving ceremony, though, I just tell my relatives what I want and they get it. I hate surprises when it comes to gift-giving, because you usually end up disappointed.

Because I have a job, I almost have no excuse to say "I didn't have any money to buy you a present, sorry!" :x Drat. :x Now I can't just buy a crummy card... Ah well. Shoping for others is kinda fun, unless you're getting them clothing which is a real drag.

It is quite a drag wondering what they'd like and how they'd react to something tacky and a joke. Me evil mind workin' there
