Update (8/4/10): Junichi Masuda's blog has confirmed that only Isshu Pokemon will be available in Black and White until the player earns the National Dex!
Let's start off with the rumor mill, then. There's an image currently going around claiming to be a scan from the September issue of Corocoro, showing Victiny, the sarcophagus, the heart-shaped fish (claiming it's Luvdisc's evolution), the first mole stage, the tarantula, a new Pokemon with a skull on its head and a Chimecho evolution. It's a little early for a Corocoro release, and the image isn't really in the Corocoro style. It also has a rather telling typo that puts Bikutini at less than 1lb. For these reasons, we're going to have to assume that this picture is fake.
Now, on to the real news. First off, you'll have noticed that if you haven't yet voted in the GPCT, there's a convenient box on the top of the page to allow you to cast your vote without having to wander over to the voting page.
Up next, you'll notice that our news posts now have a "Tweet It" button by the Facebook links. This new Twitter integration allows you to send a tweet - in the format of "@psypoke [article title] - [link to article]" right from our site. You'll have to authorize the application the first time you use it, of course, but after that it's a one-click process!
And now, the Black and White news. The other day I copied Frost's list of BW Pokemon to a Known Pokemon page for easy tracking of what we know so far.
The official Japanese site has also now posted a copy of the video shown on Oha Suta the other day. I've added that to our YouTube channel as well for your convenience and discussion.
The video shows all the things discussed in the earlier news post. We neglected to previously mention what appears to be a possible tag-team mode for 3-on-3 battles, where a rotating platform seems to determine which of your 3 Pokemon is in the front line.
When the real Corocoro scans leak (which should be in a few days), we'll make sure to let you know. Hopefully this fake one isn't too far off from the real deal.
