POKEMON SNAP WALKTHROUGH
Volcano

Three Rapidash will come galloping past the Zero-One as you start the course. There are two Rapidash on the ledge below also. Up ahead, you'll find a lone Vulpix prancing around, and two more on the track further down. As you travel past some lava pools, you'll spot a Magmar and a Charmander on a far ledge.
You'll pass through a crevice where you'll see a large egg in the path. To proceed, you must knock it off the track, revealing Moltres. To your left you'll find two Charmander, on your right, two Magmar. Further down, there are three magma holes where Growlithe and Arcanine are hiding, and before the exit, a Charmeleon is circling another magma pool.
The Volcano's Pokemon Sign is a Koffing. Right at the beginning of the course is a volcano spewing some mysterious purple smoke. Throw a Pester Ball into the magma and the purple smoke emerging will take the shape of a Koffing.

In order to progress to the next course, you must have 22 different kinds of Pokemon in the Pokemon Report.

Pokemon Details
Rapidash |
Rapidash gallop quite fast so as you see the first one appear, throw an apple or a Pester Ball at it to make it stop. Snap a picture as it neighs, and if you're lucky and your timing is just right, you'll get the other two Rapidash as they come round the corner as well.
Vulpix |
You'll spot the first Vulpix as you round the corner. Start throwing apples to lure it past the narrow gap and further down the track to where the other two Vulpix are. Continue using your Pokemon Food to lure all three Vulpix together, and take a picture for maximum Pose and Same Pokemon points.
Magmar |
There's one on a ledge with a Charmander, and you can throw some Pokemon Food between them to make Magmar use its Flamethrower attack for the Fighting Magmar Special bonus. However, your best shot will come just after the Moltres egg, where there are two Magmar on the right. Again, throw an apple between them and they'll start fighting, plus you'll get a Same Pokemon bonus if you fit both into your picture.
Charmander |
As with Magmar, you'll find a better shot after the Moltres egg where there are two Charmander on the ledge to the left. Leave the Moltres egg where it is, and the Zero-One will halt with a good view of the Charmander. Throw lots of Pokemon Food in their direction, and four more Charmander will come running over the hill and start Charmander squabbling for the food! Once you get the PokeFlute, you'll get them to line up attentively for lots of Pose points.
Charmeleon |
If you throw some Pokemon Food between the first Charmander and Magmar just after the Vulpix, the Magmar will use its Flamethrower attack on Charmander. Charmander will evolve into Charmeleon and knock Magmar out. However if you miss out, there's another Charmeleon running around a magma pool at the end of the course. Aim a Pester Ball or apple as it runs around (Don't knock it in just yet) and he'll stop and roar. Capture this on film for extra Pose points.
Moltres |
Moltres, the legendary fire bird, rests within an egg blocking your path. Simply knock it with a Pester Ball or Pokemon Food, and the egg will fall into the magma and Moltres will emerge. It should fly ahead of you, then turn around and fly above you, releasing some Embers, and fly off into the distance. Grab a shot of it releasing its Embers for maximum Pose points. It should be just the right size to take up the full width of the picture.
Growlithe |
Past the Moltres egg, you'll find three magma holes. Toss a Pester Ball into each of them, and a Growlithe will hop out. Lure them together with some food and you'll get a very content puppy, as well as good Pose and Same Pokemon bonuses.
Arcanine |
It seems that Arcanine appears randomly. Instead of a Growlithe hopping out of the pools, sometimes an Arcanine will. There's no real method of ensuring an Arcanine over a Growlithe, so if you're unlucky, just restart the level. For a good picture, snap it as it is shaking the embers off. If you're really lucky, you can get three Arcanine to appear for the Same Pokemon bonus.
Magikarp |
Not the best place for a Magikarp, but you can throw some Pester Balls or Pokemon Food into the chasm separating the track and the magma holes, and if you're lucky, some Magikarp will flop out.
Charizard |
Near the end of the course, if you knock the Charmeleon that's running around the magma pool into the magma, it'll evolve into a Charizard. Charizard's quite large, so fitting it in, wings and all, might be difficult. For Pose points, throw an item at it and it'll react by using Flamethrower in your direction. Be wary though, getting too far past it will return you to the lab immediately.
