POKEMON SNAP WALKTHROUGH

Tunnel

At the beginning of the course, you'll find a Pikachu by an emergency telephone pole. As you approach the Tunnel entrance, you'll find two Electrode rolling around, as well as an Electabuzz chasing one of them. Inside, Kakuna will drop from the ceiling around more Electrode. When the door opens, a Zubat will fly out. You'll see a Pikachu and a large egg on your left, and a generator next to a pool with Magikarp on the right. A mysterious purple orb floats around the next door.

Another Zubat flies by as the door opens. In this room, you'll find two Electabuzz on the right, another purple orb on the left, and further on, a Pikachu and a Diglett. At the tunnel exit, you'll find three Magnemite and an Electrode.

The Tunnel's Pokemon Sign is a Pinsir shadow, which will only appear if Zapdos has charged up the generator. When you approach the Pikachu standing by the large egg, lure it towards the egg by throwing Pokemon Food. When it is close, play the PokeFlute and Pikachu will let out some sparks. This will awaken Zapdos inside the egg, who will fly to the generator and shock it, giving the lights some power.

In order to progress to the next course, annoy the Electrode at the end of the tunnel with an apple or a Pester Ball, and it'll Self-destruct, blowing some rocks out of the way to reveal a path to the Volcano.

Pokemon Details

Pikachu

There are three Pikachu on this course. The first one you encounter, however, will give you the Pikachu on a Ball Special bonus. Take a picture of it and it'll run off. Take another picture of it and it'll hop onto the nearby Electrode. The other two Pikachu appear by the large egg and by Diglett, and don't give any special poses to the Pikachu you've encountered previously.

Electrode

There's a lot of Electrode rolling around the Tunnel. You'll get the most Pose points by throwing an item at them, then capturing their stance as they get ready to Self-destruct.

Electabuzz

You'll find your first Electabuzz chasing a rolling Electrode near the entrance of the Tunnel. You can get a good picture of Electabuzz here when Electrode uses Self-destruct and knocks Electabuzz out. However, once you get the PokeFlute, you can get a better picture by releasing Zapdos. The two Electabuzz in the next room will appear closer to the track, and you can throw some Pokemon Food to bring them closer together for a better shot.

Kakuna

There are several Kakuna hanging from the ceiling in the first room of the Tunnel. You can get some decent pictures of them when they randomly decide to drop down, but if you have some items, you can throw them at the two nearby Electrode and cause them to Self-destruct. This will send four Kakuna down, closer to the track for some Same Pokemon bonus points.

Zubat

You've got to be waiting to get a good shot of Zubat, since they will fly straight out of the two doors and right past you. If you can't get a good shot now, you can try again in the Cave course.

Zapdos

You need some Pokemon Food and the PokeFlute to get Zapdos. In the room after the first door, lure Pikachu towards the large egg by throwing apples. Once it is close enough, play the PokeFlute and Pikachu's sparks will break the egg, revealing Zapdos. Snap a picture as Zapdos is breaking out of the egg for maximum points.

Magikarp

Again, Magikarp may randomly decide to flop out of the water if you throw some items in. If you photograph it while it pauses in mid-air, you'll get a Splash pose bonus.

Haunter

There are two floating purple orbs in the Tunnel, which are in fact Haunter. However, they won't be revealed until you show your pictures to Professor Oak. Because of this, it's hard to take good pictures, but the second Haunter you encounter (by the Pikachu and Diglett) has a very predictable movement path, so use this to your advantage.

Diglett

There's a Diglett playing with Pikachu just beyond the second Haunter. There's no special pose you can capture it doing, so just get as close as you can to Diglett and take a picture.

Diglett

Each time you take a picture of Diglett, both it and Pikachu will move further into the distance. Eventually, Diglett will evolve into Dugtrio, and this Dugtrio will summon two of its friends out as well. Start taking pictures of Diglett as early as you can so that there's ample time for Dugtrio pictures.

Magnemite

There are three Magnemite at the end of the Tunnel, however, taking a picture of them will blur your camera. You need to throw some Pokemon Food near them to lower their guard as you capture them on film. If two get close to each other, they'll link up for an easy Same Pokemon bonus. If you lure all three together...

Magneton

If you happen to lure all three Magnemite together, they'll conveniently evolve into a Magneton. You'll need to throw more apples to get them to face you properly, and to get the best Technique points, you need to aim the camera just under the top Magnemite to get the whole Pokemon centered.
