POKEMON PINBALL RS CATCH 'EM MODE
Catching Pokemon is done by activating Catch 'Em Mode on the table.

| Ruby Table | Sapphire Table |
| When you've fired the ball at least two times around the Get Loop, the [Catch] light pointing to Sharpedo will light up. When you manage to aim the ball into Sharpedo's mouth, Catch 'Em Mode will start.
| When you've fired the ball at least two times around the Get Loop, the [Catch] light pointing to Wailmer will light up. When you manage to aim the ball into Wailmer's mouth, Catch 'Em Mode will start.
|
Alternatively, get the Catch 'Em Start Card on a Warp Hole to immediately begin Catch 'Em Mode. The Pokemon that appear is dependant on your score, and also how many times you've shot the ball around the Get Loop.
Catch 'Em Mode lasts for 2 minutes. During this time, you must hit the bumpers at the top of the table at least three times to reveal the silhouette. Once the silhouette is fully revealed, the Pokemon bounces to life, and you must hit it three times to catch it.
If you manage to hit the bumpers three times without the ball falling down to the flippers, you'll get a special effect sequence where the bumper Pokemon blast the silhouette with a jolt of lightning.

For the first minute, the Ball Saver is activated. If time runs out and you have not caught the Pokemon, it will run away, but it will remain as "Unseen" in your Pokedex.
There are some special Pokemon that can be caught:
Jirachi - Caught on either table, you must be at the Ruins to be able to catch Jirachi. Activate a Warp Hole Slot, and you'll see an "Arrival" Card with a picture of Jirachi on it. If you get the card, Jirachi will float down, and you'll have 30 seconds to hit it three times to catch it.

Latios - Latios appears only on the Ruby table. You will randomly find him during Catch 'Em Mode regardless of where you are.
Latias - Latias appears only on the Sapphire table. You will randomly find her during Catch 'Em Mode regardless of where you are.
GSC Starters and Aerodactyl - These appear randomly on the Ruby table only during Catch 'Em Mode, regardless of the location you are at. You cannot find these on the Sapphire table, and you are unable to evolve Chikorita, Totodile or Cyndaquil.
