POKEMON PINBALL RS BONUS STAGES

There are four ways to get to a bonus stage.

The most common way is to light up the three Pokeballs at the centre of the table. Catching or hatching a Pokemon will light up one Pokeball, while evolving a Pokemon will light up two. Once the three balls are lit, a warp hole appears with a "Go To Bonus" card.

You can also receive a "Go To Bonus" card from the Warp Hole upgrade slot.

You can spend 60 coins at the PokeMart to be taken to the Spheal/Sealeo bonus stage.

On the Ruby Table, if you activate Whiscash as the bumper Pokemon, it will take you to the Spheal/Sealeo bonus stage if you fire the ball into its mouth. On the Sapphire table, make sure Pelipper is facing the right way, and fire your ball into the Coin Loop, and it will take you to the Spheal/Sealeo bonus stage.

Each table has certain unique bonus stages.

Ruby TableSapphire Table
Kecleon
Kecleon will walk around the table and you must hit it a certain number of times to knock it out within 2 minutes. You must strike it first to trip it over, and then you can hit it with the ball. However, Kecleon will be invisible most of the time, so if you hit the tree at the top of the table, a Devon Scope will fall out. Pick up the Devon Scope, and it will reveal Kecleon's location. Beating the bonus stage earns you 30,000,000 points minimum.
Duskull and Dusclops
This is much like the Ghosts Bonus Stage in the original Pinball. You'll see Duskull floating around the table, and they will disappear when you hit them. Hit enough of them, and the main Dusclops will appear. Be careful, if you fire the ball directly at him, he'll suck up your ball and disable it for a few seconds. Five hits on Dusclops will make him disappear, and you'll earn 30,000,000 points minimum for beating the stage. There is a 2 minute time limit.
Groudon
Groudon will attempt to block and disable your ball from hitting it. It has 3 attacks that it uses in a specific pattern. Firstly, Rock Tomb will cause three rocks to drop onto the table. These barriers must be hit 3 times with the ball in order to be shattered. Eruption will cause 4 flame pillars to surround Groudon, and each pillar must be hit 4 times to dispell them. Finally, Flamethrower will immoblise your ball for around 10 seconds.

Groudon will attack in the following manner: Rock Tomb, Flamethrower, Eruption, Flamethrower, Rock Tomb [Repeat]. You'll have 3 minutes to hit him 15 times, and you will earn a minimum of 50,000,000 points for beating the stage. If you manage to beat him two times in a row without getting a Game Over, you'll capture Groudon.
Kyogre
Kyogre has 3 attacks: Sheer Cold and Whirlpool will immobolise your ball for a certain period of time, and it will use Dive to attempt to evade your efforts to hit it. Sheer Cold is especially dangerous as you cannot evade it, you must hit Kyogre while it is powering up to use its Sheer Cold attack to prevent it from working.

Kyogre attacks in the following manner: Sheer Cold, Whirlpool, Dive, Sheer Cold [Repeat]. You'll have 3 minutes to hit him 15 times, and you will earn a minimum of 50,000,000 points for beating the stage. If you manage to beat him two times in a row without getting a Game Over, you'll capture Kyogre.

Spheal and Sealeo

Use Whiscash (Ruby Table) or Pelipper (Sapphire Table) to get here. The aim is to hit the Spheal going up the ramp so that they slide all the way through for the Sealeo to dunk them in the hoop. Alternatively, you can also score points for dunking your ball. You have a 2 minute time limit to score as many points as you can - each Pokeball through gives you 1,000,000 points, and each Spheal gives you 5,000,000 points.

Rayquaza

You'll get here after you've caught Kyogre/Groudon on their respective table. By far the hardest bonus stage, but the most rewarding. Rayquaza has two attacks:

Thunder - immobolises your ball for an extended period of time

Extremespeed - creates whirlwinds on the table that will disable your ball for an extended period of time

The idea here is to hit Rayquaza at least 15 times to beat the bonus stage. However, it will float above the table, meaning that sometimes the ball will miss and go underneath Rayquaza. There is a 3 minute time limit here, and you will earn 99,999,999 points minimum for beating this bonus stage. If this is your second time beating the bonus stage without a Game Over, you'll catch Rayquaza.
