POKEMON RED AND BLUE CATCHING MEW GUIDE

Forget all the rumours about the SS Anne truck, or about talking to so and so a million times - here's the real way. For all the skeptics, it does actually work, because it exploits small programming errors in the game, and by manipulating Hexadecimal values, it causes Mew to show up.

Requirements

- You can't have fought the Youngster on Route 25 (he has a Level 17 Slowpoke).
- You can't have fought the the Gambler on Route 8 (East of Saffron City, right near the Underground Passage to Celadon City).
- You'll need a Pokemon with Fly.

Method

	- Fly to Celadon City and take the Underground Path to Lavender Town. When you emerge, save, because you won't get the chance to until after you've caught Mew.
	Take one step forward and immediately press Start to bring up the Menu. If you've done it right, the Menu appears before the Gambler notices you.
	Fly to Cerulean City. Head north over Nugget Bridge, and fight the Youngster. You'll need to have him walk up to you, otherwise your game will freeze. Your Start button won't function for the time being.
	Once you've defeated him, your Start button will work again. Fly to Lavendar Town. Head west to Saffron City. As you enter Route 8, the menu will pop up randomly. Press B to close it, and a battle with a lv7 Mew will initiate.
