As usual, the English Pokemon XY site has updated with the information from this month's Corocoro leak. First, the Starter Evolutions:

Chespin evolves into Quilladin the Spiny Armor Pokemon, 2'4" and 63.9 pounds. "When Chespin evolves into Quilladin, the hard spikes on its body grow even sturdier. Despite its prickly appearance, Quilladin is considered a gentle Pokemon that avoids battle." It uses its hard shell to repel attacks and also attack via its needles, and can learn Mud Shot as stated previously.

Fennekin becomes Braixen the Fox Pokemon, 3'3" and 32 pounds. "Once Fennekin evolves into Braixen, it no longer eats branches. But it still keeps a tree branch in its tail, which seems to calm the Pokemon." It can also weild the stick in battle and use friction on it to light a fire, and it learns Psyshock.

Froakie becomes Frogadier the Bubble Frog Pokemon, 2' and 24 pounds. "Frogadier evolves from Froakie, and when it does, its jumping skill improves. During battle, Frogadier confounds its opponents by leaping about the ceiling or into trees." It attacks by launching small stones wrapped in its bubbles, and can learn Bounce.

Mega Mewtwo X and Mega Garchomp's official artwork. "Yet another secret lurks within Mewtwo! The Genetic Pokemon doesn't have just one Mega-Evolved form - it has two! Meet Mega Mewtwo X, an even larger Pokemon than Mega Mewtwo Y, with muscles bulging from its arms and legs. To evolve Mewtwo into Mega Mewtwo X, you'll need the Mewtwonite X Mega Stone." At 7'7" and 280 pounds, it gains a Fighting-type and greatly increased Attack. "When Garchomp becomes Mega Garchomp, the increased energy flows into the Pokemon's arms, turning them into huge blades! Mega Garchomp's Attack and Special Attack both improve greatly, while its Speed goes down a little." he retains Garchomp's height and weight.

Furfrou the Poodle Pokemon is 3'11" and 61.7 pounds. "The stylish Pokémon Furfrou can have its appearance changed by grooming. There are number of different appearances it can take, and the more you groom it, the more styles may become available! If you leave Furfrou's style untended for a few days, its fur will grow long and shaggy again, returning to its original look. Keep a regular grooming schedule to maintain Furfrou's style!" Its shaggy fur transforms into a number of appearances and it can learn Baby-Doll Eyes, which always goes first and lowers the target's Attack.

Meowstic (male left; female right) the Constraint Pokemon is 2' and 18.7 pounds. "Meowstic is a Pokémon that has different forms depending on its gender. Not only do male and female Meowstic look different, but they also have different moves they can learn!" Meowstic's ears contain great psychic power and, when threatened, they open their ears to unleash this power. Male Meowstic are actually the ones who learn support moves, while the females get the offensive moves.

Tyrunt the Royal Heir Pokemon is 2'7" and 57.3 pounds. "Tyrunt is an ancient Pokemon from another age, and to add it to your team, you'll have to restore it from a Fossil. You can choose between two Fossils during your adventure in Pokemon X and Pokemon - Tyrunt can be obtained by restoring the Jaw Fossil." Tyrunt is one hundred million years old and is known to be selfish, throwing a fit when it doesn't get its way. Fossils can be restored at the Fossil Lab.

Amaura the Tundra Pokemon is 4'3" and 55.6 pounds with the ability Refrigerate. "To obtain Amaura, you'll need to restore the Sail Fossil. Choose wisely whether you want Tyrunt or Amaura when you pick between the Jaw and Sail Fossil!" It is thought to be as old as Tyrunt, and learns Aurora Beam.

Finally, we have Pyroar (male left, female right): "When Litleo evolves into Pyroar, it gains a great mane of burning flame! Male and female Pyroar have different forms." The male Pyroar with the largest mane becomes leader of its pride, while the female protects the pride's young.

"Meet the five scientists who are the driving force behind Team Flare! They all have different hairstyles and unique outfits: The purple-haired woman is Celosia, the orange-haired woman is Aliana, the green-haired woman is Bryony, and the blue-haired woman is Mable. The final one of the lot is a man called Xerosic, whose red goggles and hair make quite an impression. They're not merely selfishly looking out for themselves - they appear to have a clear goal in how to change the world. What kind of world do they hope to create?"

A new character, Diantha: "Diantha is a famous movie star beloved by everyone in the Kalos region. She's also a Pokemon Trainer who shows a lot of potential. She may even trade Pokemon with you sometime during your adventure!"
Some new information was also revealed as well. Under the Pokemon Type table is a PDF of the new type chart, stating that Grass-type Pokemon are now immune to powder and spore moves, Electric-types are now immune to paralysis, and Ghost-types are immune to moves that prevent fleeing during the battle.

Two new features are salons to modify your character's appearances -- and presumably Furfrou's: "In Pokemon X and Pokemon Y, you'll be able to use the boutiques and the salon that appear in the game to change your outfits and hair style. You can change not only your clothes, but also your hat, shoes, and accessories! There are all kinds of preset styles ready for you, too. There are boutiques in many of the cities you visit, and each has its own individual style."
You can also create Trainer PR Videos in Kalos: "After you choose a style, visit the PR Video Studio. This facility will let you make a promotional video that reflects your style, called a Trainer PR Video! Trainer PR Videos are 10-second films that feature you and your Pokémon. Choose your expressions, poses, background music, camera angles, and more to create a unique video! You can use a recommended style to make a video in moments, or make a video based on your preferences, with every second specially crafted."
