The official site has updated with the Pokemon and characters featured in August's Corocoro! Let's start with the Pokemon:
Pancham's evolution is Pangoro, the Daunting Pokemon: "Pangoro is the evolved form of Pancham. It's a cantankerous Pokemon, but it has a strong heart and doesn't forgive those who pick on the weak." Pangoro's Imperial measurements are 6'11" and 299.8 lbs.
The Dark/Psychic-type squid are Inkay the Revolving Pokemon and Malamar the Overturning Pokemon, as rumored. "Transmitters above Inkay's eyes have the ability to drain the will to fight from other Pokemon. It uses this skill to run and hide when attacked by stronger enemies." His stats are 1'4" and 7.7 lbs, and he uses his transmitters to communicate with other Inkay. He flips upside-down as part of his battle animation as seen in the screenshots.

"The evolved form of Inkay, Malamar wields some of the strongest hypnotic powers of any Pokemon and can make its opponents bend to its will." -- The official site even says that humans seek to use Malamar for evil purposes! At 4'11" and 103.6 lbs, they show her using Hypnosis. The move Turn Over, which reverses stat changes, is known as Topsy-Turvy in English.

The new Fairy-types are Swirlix the Cotton Candy Pokemon and Spritzee the Perfume Pokemon. "Exclusive to Pokemon X, Swirlix loves sweets and eats nothing else, making its body as sweet and sticky as cotton candy." -- Swirlix also uses its sticky threads to bind opponents, and has the new ability Sweet Veil, which prevents its teammates from falling asleep. He is 1'4" and weighs 7.7 pounds.

"Spritzee is a Pokemon that can be found in the wild only in Pokemon Y. It emits a unique fragrance from its body, and any who smell it fall under its spell." -- At 8 inches and 1.1 pounds, Spritzee's fragrance changes with its diet, and it learns the new Fairy-type move Draining Kiss.

Professor Platane's English name is now Professor Sycamore, as rumored: "Professor Sycamore is the top Pokemon researcher in the Kalos region. He entrusts you and your friends with Pokemon and sends you out on your big adventure!" The villainous name retain their Japanese name of Team Flare: "A strange organization known as Team Flare has begun to make its presence known in the Kalos region. What could they be up to?"

Our new Gym Leaders are Grant (left) and Clemont (right). The site states for Grant: "Gym Leader Grant excels at bike racing, mountain climbing, and all sorts of sports. You'll be facing a Trainer with a strong heart when you challenge Grant!" More than likely he's a Rock-type trainer. For Clemont, the site says: "Clemont is a young Gym Leader who loves science, especially inventing new devices. He's not interested only in strength -- he enjoys all the time he spends with his Pokemon, too." He also has a little sister, Bonnie, a Gym that looks bright and technologically-advanced. Perhaps an Electric- or Steel-type Gym?
The site also has some basic recaps of ways to evolve your Pokemon, stating that Pancham evolves into Pangoro with a new evolution method. The same page confirms Xerneas and Yveltal's abilities as Fairy Aura and Dark Aura, respectively; these abilities boost moves of these types for all Pokemon on the field. Their exclusive moves are confirmed to be Geomancy (Xerneas) and Oblivion Wing (Yveltal); as they are the Life and Destruction Pokemon, respectively, these make sense.
Other updates were added to the "What's New" and "PGL" tabs; one speaks of the Wonder Trade, which lets you take part in a blind trade, and a new feature called Photo Spots lets you take pictures of yourself. and a fifth trailer was added to the official Pokemon Youtube:
