In addition to the five new Pokemon and information revealed at the E3 festivities yesterday (see the previous post for those), the July 2013 Corocoro leaked last night, revealing four MORE new Pokemon and several new characters from XY!

Shishiko, the Young Lion Pokemon, is a Normal/Fire-type who is quick to start fights, in which its red bangs radiate heat and increase in temperature against tough opponents. They live together in packs until they grow strong enough to leave and live on their own. It is 0.6m tall, weighs 13.5 kg and can learn the new move War Cry, which lowers the opponent's Attack.

Furabebe, the Single Flower Pokemon, is a pure Fairy-type who finds a flower upon its birth and stays with it for the rest of its live. At 0.1m tall and 0.1kg, it a tiny little Pokemon who can learn Gardevoir's confirmed new move Fairy Wind.

Vivillion was revealed yesterday, but Corocoro reveals its two pre-evolutions Kofuurai and Kofukimushi. It is important to note that the official Spanish XY site says that Vivillion evolves from a Pokemon named Spewpa, so that is likely the English name for one of these two pure Bug-types. The first form, Kofukimushi, is 0.3 tall and weighs 2.5kg; it evolves into Kofuurai, who is the same size but weighs 8.4kg and evolves into Vivillon.

These two women are new characters. On the left is Pansy, a Gogoat Trainer who will appear in the anime on July 18; on the right is Viola, the first Gym Leader, who specializes in Bug-type Pokemon at Hakudan City, and whose Gym contains the giant spider web seen in a recent XY trailer. It's important to note that a female Bug-type specialist is a series first.

The player's hometown is Asame Town in Japanese, and these three people are the main character's friends Tieruno, Toroba and Sana. Screenshots on the official English site and trailers seem to indicate that the main character is named Xavier (Callum in Japan) while the female is Yvonne (Serena in Japan). Like in HeartGold and SoulSilver, the player character that isn't your own is your neighbor.
Pokemon's official Twitter account was livetweeting during the Pokemon roundtables last night. Among the new developments is that you can play XY in one of seven different languages, the English script has 1.8 million words, the new PSS (Player Search System) allows players to find others locally or globally for battles and trades, and Flying-type and certain other Pokemon like Levitators can take part in Sky Battles, as shown in footage between Talonflame and Haunter.
In addition to eight-directional movement, another new feature is Horde Battles, in which you can fight up to five Pokemon at once with a single Pokemon. During the Q&A session, compatibility with older games was considered a possibility; EVs and IVs will play a more visible role; Pokemon Red/Blue (and presumably other main series games) will not be on the 3DS Virtual Console; the Kalos Region is obviously based on France because GameFreak wanted to focus on beauty; and the Fairy-type was created to address the imbalances of the type chart. A rival was confirmed, possibly multiple, and there will likely be an evil Team, but they hesitated to comment on Mewtwo's new form(s?).
Skrelp, Talonflame and Clauncher, who were added to yesterday's news update when they were added to the official Pokemon site, were all confirmed at E3 beforehand.
