Noivern the Sound Wave Dragon/Flying-type Pokemon
Noivern is 4' 11", 187.4lbs and learns a move called Boomblast that damages all adjacent Pokemon. Noivern is extremely combative toward anything that wanders too close to it. It flies through even the darkest nights using ultrasonic waves it emits from its ears. This Pokemon loves fruit, and feeding it fruit will keep it calm.
Vivillon the Bug/Flying-type
Vivillon is 3' 11", 37.5lbs and can learn Struggle Bug. Vivillon uses its wings to scatter its scales or create a strong wind to attack. Vivillon is said to have a secret hidden in the colorful decorative pattern on its wings.
Talonflame the Fire/Flying type
An evolved form of the recently announced Fletchling, Talonflame is a Fire- and Flying-type Pokemon that gains a whole new level of speed and firepower. It dives at foes, and then attacks with devastating kicks. Talonflame is 3' 11", 54lbs and can learn Brave Bird.
Clauncher the Water type
Clauncher is 1' 08", 18.3lbs, and is easily recognizable by the oversized claw on one of its arms. This useful claw can seize prey and shoot water at others as a projectile! Clauncher's enormous claw can also crack boulders when the Pokemon is at close range. Clauncher can learn the high-critical hit move Crabhammer.
Skrelp the Poison/Water type
Disguised by its shape, Skrelp pretends to be a piece of seaweed. When prey gets too close, Skrelp bathes it in poison to keep it from struggling. Skrelp is 1' 08", 16.1lbs, and learns the move Sludge Bomb.
Additionally, the rumors are true: the Fairy-type has been confirmed, and Sylveon is a Fairy-type Pokemon. Additionally older Pokemon have been reclassified as Fairy-types including Marill, Jigglypuff and Gardevoir, who all gain Fairy in addition to their existing types. Fairy has been confirmed to be Super Effective against Dragon-types, and two new Fairy-type moves are known: Sylveon's Moon Blast, which lowers the target's Attack, and Gardevoir's Fairy Wind.

A new feature called Pokemon-Amie will allow you to interact with your Pokemon on the 3DS, affecting their friendship levels, which is also said to play a bigger role with your Pokemon's strength level in XY. Larger Pokemon like Snorlax will take up both screens of the 3DS, which is pretty cute!
