The Starters are an upgrade from Unova's but the Legendaries seem like a downgrade IMO.

barimaron, fokko, keromatsu are the Japanese romanizations in order.

The fire guy looks the best to me, but I'm excited to see the water evolutions because froggies :3

However, is it for reals; just for 3DS?

Guesses for the name meanings:

barimaron - bari = tearing, crunching; maron = chestnut

fokko - based off of the English "fox"?

keromatsu - kero = ribbit; matsu can mean a lot of things, not sure which fits best: waiting, festival, ??

Although I like the legendaries.
Gen V made me feel like it was the death of bad*** looking legendaries. Now I don't know which one to go for!

Not certain if I like the starters (though Suprisingly this is the first time since gen 1 that I may go for the grass starter first time through) would love to see the full evolutions
I have to say though I was extremely excited when they showed the Legendaries definatley a step up from Incarnate Form trio
(also not sure on the others but I assume Fennekin is roughly based off the Fennec Fox of the Sahara)

It looks great, mainly the pokemon battles. I really liked the starters (and i hope the other forms too) but the legendaries don´t seem to give the authority a legend really should.
I´ll probably buy it anyway, but i hope it gets always better

They've been slowly moving up the time table! And I love it!

Finally releasing it worldwide, but that just makes it seem like it's less time since the previous game, which in America will be about 2 1/2 years after B/W came out.


Also, I remember lots of people expecting a Gen III remake before the next generation. It'd be cool if you could make your 3DS Mii into your trainer, with trainer clothing, or a customizable trainer.

I feel like the legendaries and 2/3 beginners are recycled from previous generations. Arceus/Sawsbuck and flying Groudon? Croagunk/Seismitoad, eevee/skyforme shaymin? Losing originality, though Fennekin and Chespin are cute.

I am so excited!!! :D I am definitely getting both games and Fennikin looks simply awesome! I like both of the legendaries (first time this has ever happened)!

People are saying this region will be worse than unova, but I think it is too early to say that. Pluse, Unova was the worst region, but it wasn't terrible.

I'm still excited about x and y. I'm getting y my brother's getting x.

I can't wait! I wonder what the new eeveelution will be for slyveon. I might get X or Y depends wat my sister gets :) wait wat are we talking about?

Well Xerneas and Yveltal look cool.... and I think Sylveon may be a grass,normal or fighting type. I'm very excited about X and Y versions. The 3D graphics look awesome.

Kind of I hope there is a 3DS rom for this game.... my parents allow me to play only on emulators. My current games:

5.Pokemon FireRed(Gameboy)

It looks good, but it also looks like it's gonna be one of those long-wait-time games. With all the extra camera pans and animations; unwanted wild Pokemon encounters will take significantly longer than we're used to. But I will definitely be getting probably the Y version and starting with Froakie.
