Crossover Release Date [permalink]

Despite today being the Blackout, we do have some news to report. Pokemon Ranse (aka, Pokemon + Nobunaga's Ambition) is getting released in Japan on March 17th. No announcements have been made regarding if the game will be released outside of Japan. Other than that, I think I can accurately summarize the news as "the Victini movie has aired around the world" and that's pretty much it. There have been a few TCG announcements as well, mostly the official site revealing cards from the upcoming Next Destinies expansion that will be released on February 8. Also coming is the debut of the TCG's Dragon type in the Japanese Dragon Selection 20-card, all holographic mini-set, which will be released in Japan next week to celebrate Chinese New Year for Year of the Dragon. So far Haxorus, Rayquaza, Druddigon, and Salamence's families have been confirmed for Dragon Selection, with the numbering scheme implying that Dragonite, Altaria, Latias and Latios's families will be present along with two of Palkia, Dialga or Giratina, and either the Hydreigon line or Reshiram, Zekrom and Kyurem. We hope that your holidays and end of 2011 treated you well, and that the start of 2012 is treating you even better. I actually thought the whole site was off for today until I noticed the little enter psypokes link at the bottom. I really hope those acts never pass (or are completely stopped by the supreme court if passed).

Hey guys, Rayquaza is going to get V-CREATE soon! It's some event in Japan On a side note, he won the popularity vote in Japan. Why couldn't we have gotten him instead of yet another arceus?

There's also the Mewtwo that will be given away for BW, as well as TCG card(s) ect... it says it on the official Pokemon site.

Hello fellow Psypoke visitors I thought it should be mentioned that a new event started on pokemon global link/dream world. It starts today and runs through May 1st. It is Arceus that you can befriend and send to your game. It is level 100 but it has no hidden ability and no special moves. The password is ARCEUSVOTE! Enjoy

Mewtwo and Arceus in the same month. A fine time for all. And, y'know, news on the crossover no one was actually asking for. That's cool too... (Why is Nintendo making this?)

@Damaia I figure that they have had some success with a the last few crossovers made recently though most of them only hit Japan, like the Ace Attorney/Professor Laton Crossover.
