Idol Round 2 Continues, TCG Updates [permalink]

First off, Idol Round 2 is still underway. Last week's results still show a downward trend in scores, with an average of 0.2238 fewer stars across the Top 20. Our Top 5 last week were Charizard at 4.2339 stars, Blastoise at 4.0111 stars, Blaziken at 3.9158 stars, Metagross at 3.9075 stars, and Scizor at 3.8638 stars. The rest of the Top 20 were filled out by Latios, Venusaur, Aggron, Garchomp, Alakazam, Latias, Luxray, Zoroark, Squirtle, Nidoking, Moltres, Leafeon, Darkrai, Celebi, and Krookodile at 3.4028. Just missing out were Weavile at 3.3788 stars, Chandelure at 3.3592 stars, Kyurem at 3.3584 stars, Wailord at 3.352 stars, and Starmie at 3.2514 stars. Meanwhile, the Bottom 5 were Muk at 2.8665 stars, Thundurus at 2.8413 stars, Floatzel at 2.8391 stars, Dodrio at 2.7267 stars, and Sawsbuck (Summer) at 2.6345 stars. Only two Pokemon improved compared to their Round 1 scores, earning a 30th place finish for Torchic at 3.1418 stars, up from 3.1210 stars, and 34th place for Togepi at 3.0862 stars, up from 3.0370 stars. Frost has updated the Deck Dex to fix some numbering errors that affected many cards, and also to include the forthcoming Emerging Powers set. Also on the TCG front, with Emerging Powers coming out on the 31st, TPCi has released information about the third BW set, named Noble Victories. It will contain at least 90 cards, including Victini as well as other Unova Legendary and Fossil Pokemon. Likely, it will come out in November and will contain most (if not all) of last month's Japanese Red Collection set, as well as over a dozen cards from the Victini Formation Decks and likely some Japanese promos. Except for Keldeo, Meloetta and Genesect, it should contain the rest of the Unova Pokemon who have not yet debuted in the English TCG.

NOOOOO!!!!! The only "5s" I gave were to Weavile, Chandelure and Kyurem. So close...oh well, I'm happy that Blaziken finished as high as it did.

I must say, I approve of all of the top 20 for week 3. Well, except for Hydreigon, but it's just ugly, in my opinion. To each his own, though. :)

Didn't vote last time, I was waiting for an update, and just missed it :'( I'm fairly happy with how the tops worked out tho! Three Kanto starters through, wow!! But poor Chandelure just missed out :'(
Any this time, for group 4, I mean, my 5's went to: Arcanine, Bulbasaur, Carracosta, Chikorita, Emboar, Espeon, Feraligatr, Giratina (Origin), Ho-Oh, Pikachu, Swampert, Torterra and Xatu!!
Hopefully some of them get through as a few of my faves are in this group, namely: Emboar, Espeon, Feraligatr and Giratina :P I'm just repeating myself now, so I can't wait 'til the next group!!!
