Frost is right: I've been incredibly busy at work. Thankfully, news has been rather slow. The Japanese release of Super Pokemon Scramble was pushed back to the end of this week, and I'll let Frost talk about some TCG things if he cares to, but not much else has really been going on. EDIT: Frost has posted the ninth part of the BW walkthrough. As far as Idol goes, we'll forgo the detailed breakdown of Round 1 Group 9 and get right into how Round 2 started off last week. Nearly every Pokemon scored lower this round than last, meaning people are more picky about who they're giving high marks to (or more lenient in giving out low ones). Overall, the Top 20 were 0.2878 stars lower on average than they scored last round. The Top 5 were Umbreon with 3.8825 stars, Charmander with 3.7841 stars, Jolteon with 3.7787 stars, Pidgeot with 3.7561 stars, and Rayquaza with 3.7058 stars. Rounding out the Top 20 advancing to Round 3 are Suicune, Eevee, Dratini, Glaceon, Togekiss, Gallade, Ivysaur, Kyogre, Braviary, Reshiram, Houndoom, Jirachi, Growlithe, Giratina (Altered), and Haxorus at 3.2502 stars. Just missing out on the next round were Gliscor with 3.2436 stars, Notched-Ear Pichu with 3.2312 stars, Golem with 3.2095 stars, Togetic with 3.1821 stars, and Croconaw with 3.1511 stars. The Bottom 5 were Arceus (Ghost) with 2.7237 stars, Darmanitan with 2.7132 stars, Hitmontop with 2.6908 stars, Meloetta (Pirouette) with 2.6002 stars, and Arceus (Ground) with 2.4662 stars. The only Pokemon to score better in Round 2 than they did in Round 1 were Togetic with 3.1821 stars, up from 3.1047 stars last round, earning 24th place; Psyduck with 3.1144 stars, up from 2.8465 stars last round, earning 29th place; and Combusken with 3.0282 stars, up from 3.0227 stars, earning 37th place. Keep voting for all your favorites. The competition's heating up now as Round 2 moves on and we near the semifinals.

Huh... I'm kind of surprised about Pichu. I thought it would've at leasted another round, especially considering it's special or whatever, but oh well. I'm glad Houndoom, Growlithe and the Eeveelutions made it (and Eevee, of course), however, I must say I'm surprised the four Eevee family ones all made the top 10, specifically Glaceon. I'm a little disappointed that Darmanitan did so badly considering what a beast it can be in-game. All in all, I thought this was a good round, though. :)

Darmanitan should've taken Pidgeot's spot. How cna you hate something that can be such a one man wrecking crew? I guess a lot of people picked Pidgeot cuz of R/B/Y memories

...I sob for Darmanitan. My freshest B/W memory is how my Darmanitan had a hasty nature, so it would go first and murder anything in its way, but get killed by an Aqua Jet.

Nearly there :P This time my fives went to: Blastoise, Charizard, Leafeon, Luxray, Tepig and Venusaur :P Aww, poor Gliscor didn't get through :'(

@Poke-piper a tank Braviary...interesting. Usually they tend to be physical sweepers although they dont have the best speed in the world but u can still manage. a good combo is Superpower+bulk up

Rather than complain, why don't you go ahead and thank him for what he's already done? Thank you, Frost, for even bothering to write a walkthrough, despite people seeming not to appreciate it. @Spoinkable: I agree, lol.

i b with rex on this one. frost works hard on those things so people should be happy. besides i was able to beat the game with out frost. 3 times. one with each starter. and working on number 4. not that im boasting. :P

Really disappointed Charizard got through in first place >.< I really dislike Charizard (If you didn't notice...) We all knew it was going to go to the semis but again in first place! nvm :( Anyway, I'm surprised Notch-Eared Pichu failed to get through, I would've thought people would think it's special. Also, thanks frost for Part 9, you do a really good job with the walkthroughs!

Regarding Charizard... SERIOUSLY! WHO THE F*** SNEAKS IN AND VOTES?! I'm so mad. If something lame wins like Charitard or Stupidmence or Gyaradouche (you catch my drift), I'm going to gut and roast all gradeschoolers who play Pokemon and have access to the internet. Because they ruin everything.

Don't get me wrong; it's not that I hate those Pokemon. But at the same time, some variety would be nice.
